Afk in ranked

Hey guys! I have been playing since 2014 harrowing, but only reached lvl 30 one week ago. So i started playing my first 10 rank games. My first one was lose, but then i won the next two. Today i played my fourth game (in support role) and i got as an adc an awesome lvl 7 project lucian. Everything went smooth, we were about to win but then suddenly (idk why) lucian went afk. He could reconnect only like 10-15 minutes later, when our chance to win dropped from 80% to nearly impossible. I still tried my best but we lost... Will this game impact my future rank tier? Will it be considered less important? It is so sad that i could have 3 wins, but now i only have 2. :(

One game shouldn't affect your overall placement by much; even if the placement is low, just keep playing ranked games and you'll soon be moved to the place that you deserve :)

afk's in low elo ranked play are so common, I've tracked it to be around 20% of games. The tribunal doesn't punish individual games, it only punishes trends. And with the latency issues they have, dropping a game from a period of time really isn't factored in. I found a person (since removed when I sent a ticket) that had gone 0-15 to 0-25 in 87 of their last 100 games. Just yesterday I went 58/35/176 on support with two afks, an adc that took smite and stole jungle camps all game, and two top lanes that "roamed" never going to lane. Sadly it's just the community the game has developed, and people know how to abuse the system.
