cussing and flaming

Look I know that you can have a bad game and that it can cause some stress amongst others but I hate this flaming... a friend of mine got banned for 14 days because he said 'shut up %%%get' to someone who has been flaming him the whole game! But the real flamer did not get banned even with 4 reports... Just now we were playing an aram game with some germans. I was playing Urgot one of the champs that I am good with but everytime I tried to engage and literally give them kills they did not come. No problem at all but the second time this Trundle got flamy on me... I can't stand flaming but I didn't say a word at first untill his group mate who was playing as Sivir was flaming with him. Still I did not say anything. This Trundle went afk all of a sudden. I don't care we could win without him if his mates would have helped(wich they didn't). They called me and my friend who was playing Leblanc bad things in German. We get this stuff a lot last days and we are getting pretty tired that you can curse and say bad things about eachother if you are just not saying it in English... You can report all you want but I never know of anyone getting banned. I do flame flamers I admit that. But I would never do this because we're just playing a bad game. Maybe there should be a change about the reports? And about that you can cuss in 'strange' languages. I am getting real tired about this and if this is not going to change I think I might stop playing my favorite game... and that would make me sad but I can't stand these flamers.

Hate speech is considered zero tolerance by Riot. One instance will get your account from nothing to a 14 day ban.

It does not matter in the slightest what someone else said or did, only what your friend personally did. If he breaks the rules, he faces the consequences.

First off -- the IFS system does detect other languages, I've gotten people banned that cussed in French, Spanish, and Chinese. Never had an issue with a German yet (and probably wouldn't understand since I don't speak it fluently) but if the system had no problem with the other languages, I don't see why German would be excluded.

Secondly -- the whole "mommy he started it first!" is not a valid excuse. That should've been a lesson you learned back when you were in preschool/kindergarten. Take the lesson now with only the 14 day ban and not the perma. Calling someone what your friend called him has a zero tolerance policy regardless of what others are saying.

So you think Riot specifically targets your friend, but everyone else gets away with it? It doesn't matter who said what first. Riot isn't going to review every chat log to determine who deserves to be flamed or not. So it's just not allowed EVER. They also detect other languages, of course. An international game that only monitors English chat? No.
