Chat restricted off one game?

How do bans work? I am generally not toxic at all. I've been playing the game for a while now. I just don't care enough to scream at someone in chat. I start the game with a /mute all just because I don't like teammates fighting and let's be honest, they never have anything nice to say. I forgot to do /mute all today. ONE GAME and I was chat restricted. I don't even think what I said was toxic. I wanted to know how they decide what is toxic and is it a build up or what because we all know we just report whoever feeds.

It said only one game.

EDIT: I was talking to Shaco who thought his champion was bad at ganking.

Here's what I see:

something that riot doesnt really explain is that the IFS only shows up to 3 games.

you can be a tiny bit toxic for 100 games and after 100 games you'll finally be punished because it addet up, but the ifs might only show you 1-3 games.

getting punished for 1 game is usually a case of instant 14 day ban for 0 tolerance phrases. but crs are very unlikely.

You spent the entire game flaming him for not ganking you. You are not his boss, you are not the team captain/coach, and you don't get to flame and harass someone just because they don't do what you want them to.

How do punishments work? The system punishes based on consistency x severity, meaning you can be punished for 1 game of extreme toxicity or many many games of mild toxicity.

This chatlog showed an attitude of giving up, accusing of others trolling, and blaming others whom don't play your play style. While they are mild in nature, if you kept a similar attitude over many games, you will get punished.

Just don't talk if you're uncertain. Be positive, occasional jabs are okay but if you make it a habit then you may end up with a CR eventually for it.
