Is there a reason

Why I havent gotten a little message from Instant Feedback Report saying my report was heard and that something has been done? like im not saying its been a week since ive seen it but much longer and I was just wondering if something like Low priority report is a thing like if you report too often do they just shuffle it lower into like a report queue or what because before id get the pop ups all the time saying someone was punished and now nothing so if I could get more than just a few opinions and like an actual riot employee's response that would be fantastic!

Sometimes I Get them but I really don't like having to report people although this morning I reported 4 toxic idiots.

First Game of the day, JG keeps running into lane after being asked to stop and muting / turning off pings all together refuses to stop causes the game to easily be thrown by tilting it hard.

Second Game, again people don't respect the role assignment so whatever I play it anyways, and our jungler keeps coming into lane after being asked to stop and flat out griefing the lane phase, I don't care if their score was like 20/5 either or whatever the fact they were told to stop, upset me as a player very much and caused me to have to leave and roam flat out is a report worthy offense IMO.

On top of that game their buddy who was likely duo started talking shit in chat.

I am very sick of these type of players when I encounter them.

Because that's not how the IFS works. You will only get the message if your report was the last one before the person was punished. So for all you know your report did help in getting someone punished, but someone else might have reported them after you and thus they would have gotten the notice. For me personally i think its stupid to have it work that way. I believe anyone who reported someone no matter how long it took. If they end up getting punished everyone who help report should get some sort of notice. I believe they gave some BS excuse of not wanting to be a bother to people who report and getting loads of notices, but if that's the case just make an option to opt in or out of getting the notice through the options menu. It wouldn't be that difficult to implement.

But sadly this is what we have to work with. Not knowing if out reports are getting through and because of that people get that falsehood that its not working so they have no reason to report people who break the rules. Which in turn makes them not report and letting people who break the rules go free. Its sad and not something i would want if i made this type of game.

Your report has to be the last one, the one to trigger the punishment. It sucks and Rito should probably change it, to give more Feedback to players, who are trying to make this community at least slightly better.

But don't lose hope and don't stop trying. I've been in your position lately, but I got a message from IFS, like a week ago.

I feel the same way, I used to get them all the time and now I never do. I hope it's not a case of reporting a lot makes you have a lower report priority or something, because I never false report. I have a troll or a toxic flamer in almost every game, and I just feel like no one ever gets punished. It would just be nice to get validation from a Riot employee that they are actually reviewing the reports I send. Just because I report people often doesn't mean that the reports shouldn't count.

Just as an aside, there is something I just don't understand from this mentality of tracking the people you've reported and checking to see if they've been punished.

That jerk you met in the game only has the power to affect your wellbeing in that game. Once the game is over, you can report them and there is nothing else this person can do to affect you ever again.

But you CHOOSE to give that person power over you even when they are gone and you will never see them again. You choose to invest MORE time into someone who was not even worth the time you have already spent on them.

Fuck that guy, just report him and move your attention to things which ARE worth your time. Like embroidery for example..

If you don't get it after 15 minutes you shouldn't get it any more I guess since you get that message when your final report triggerd the punishment.

if something like Low priority report is a thing

it was a thing in the past but they reworked that. You can basically report 9 people in every match and every report got the same value.

And sorry for not being a riot member.

Its fairly random whether you get the message or not. Not getting the message does not mean the person wasn't punished.

To get the message you have to have reported them in the last game they played before they were punished and it is still random if you get it or not from there.
