So there are people out there on the League of Legends community that ask for skins or other things, and offer to pay you back. While you probably shouldn't do these things some are honest, but enough are only interested in using others for things. While understandably Riot will have a hard time punishing these players without falling into anarchy something else can be done. A list compiled of player reports of those that have done this in the past, and have pestered others into doing this, that is player driven. Any ideas on how this would pan out?

Well I mean if someone asks you to buy them something and you do it, it's kind of on you not Riot. Ya I agree it's a bad thing for the person to do, but Riot shouldn't be held responsible for your decisions.

I sent a ticket asking about this once and Riot said they take no responsibility in scams, nor do they punish people for it.

Creating a system to track these players, especially if there is no way to verify that they actually scammed someone, is not a good idea in my opinion. It would just cause unverifiable witchhunts and toxicity.

It is also not the most effective way to deal with a scammer. The best way to deal with it is to not make deals with people you barely know. There is no way for Riot to prevent this from happening. The gifting system was designed for just that, gifting, not trading.
