Permanent Ban (Was it Justified? Not asking to unban just a debate if it was justified)

Hey Reader, i was recently banned to, sadly, i went to support asking why they banned me off of one game, they gave me a reply saying i was "Berating" teamates and being toxic for 20 games, but i wasn't, they gave me 2 games instead of 3 and they said that it takes 1 game where you flame to get you perma banned, the game i flamed was bad, but the flame was very minimal, i actually muted then moved on because i was getting flamed, so i moved on and played at the end i was banned, can you look through the chat logs again? I just came off a 14 day ban because i had a feeding troll, i moved past it because i knew i did wrong by adding fuel to the fire, but this, this i feel like it was unjust, it's 3 games you flame and they gave me 2 and one of the games i didn't even flame, i was being flamed and i muted and moved on, once he started cooperating i unmuted and i tried to be a good person and help him, but they just gave me a reason such as "You berated teamates and spammed the chat" when i didn't even spam the chat or Berate teamates, can you look into this please, sorry for such a huge reply, Thanks!!!

I also didn't recieve ANY emails for my 14 day or my Perma ban, like i have recieved NO Emails!

The ban was deserved. I think that Riot should give you all the information and details on why exactly you were banned though.

What do you mean, That wasn't the ENTIRE team, it was towards a flamer who flamed my teamates and a friend i was queued with, i told him to stop typing and play, then muted him.

How did i make a bad situation worse? I literally told him to stop it lmao by telling him to "Stop typing and play" Do u understnad what that means? It means i was making the situation better by telling him to stop, i muted and moved on lmaoo.

I gave you one place where you had the right idea, but failed to act on it.

What you seem to be missing is that if something is worthy of a chat restriction, it's worthy of a permaban if you keep it up enough. I think you'll agree that your behavior was worthy of a chat restriction.

I understand that, but according to most people they need 3 games to ban you on not 2 games and one game was irrelevant

Riot doesn't need any games to ban you.

They chose to show you recent examples, anywhere from 1-5 games.

If it was chat restriction worthy and you've had your 14-day ban, then you're permabanned. That's how it works. If you feel you skipped a middle step put in a Support Ticket.

Read the Terms of Service, Riot can ban you without reason if they feel like. I don't know that there's been an instance where they have done that (since banning people out of the blue is bad for business), but it's something they can do.

If you acted like this right after your 14-day ban then yes, your punishment was justified.

Like this? How am i acting bad, besides it's 1 game, not the 3 that they promised it would be, other than that im confused, never sent email, Support replied with bots the usual, and they don't give clear reason to why i was banned, not even giving me a chat log, i had to find this joint by logging in and trying to copy and paste it all

It's 2 games in your chat log, and they send between 1 and 5. Sometimes that's 1, sometimes that's 2, sometimes that's 3, rarely more.

If you didn't get it emailed to you then you should double check that your email on the account is the same one you think it is.

In your chat log you're constantly being negative to your entire team. No one wants to listen to you dragging everyone down all game long.

YEs they gave me two games, one of the games i wasn't toxic iso im not counting that one, and u know i wasn't toxic so stop bsing. I checked every email i have i always get the RP Purchase receipts but no Reform cards

By your own admission you were toxic enough to warrant a chat restriction after having a 14 day ban. There is no "chat restriction" after a 14 day ban, there is only the permaban.

Put another way, by your own admission the system should give you a permaban.

At this point there's nothing left to discuss for this case in particular. If you want to start up a new discussion about ways that the system can be improved, by all means do so, but I don't think that would be a good fit for the comments of this thread.

The reform card gives you 1-5 "recent" games as examples of your unacceptable behavior, we don't know what "recent" means.

The system works on punishment tiers:

  1. 10 game chat restrict
  2. 25 game chat restrict
  3. 14-day ban
  4. permaban

Anything that can yield a punishment will eventually make its way into permaban, constantly berating team mates will indeed land you a punishment, which is what happened to you.

Bro i understand, i had mutiple chances to reform, and i did, but i got perm'd, im over it, it's jusdt that i dont feel like this was a justifed ban with me barely flaming and giving me 2 games out of 3, which one of the games i didn't even flame. I was berating teamates, im not going to lie, never will because lying wont do me any good, but i hear you out so thanks for a reply!

You probably only got 2 games worth of logs because of how much there is in these two. They probably ran out of room to fit anymore in. I'm always amazed at people who can type this much and play the game. If I tried that I'd be standing still long enough to get ganked or lose the game.

Here's the thing: Is any of this taken by itself permaban worthy? No. Is this being judged in a void? No. These are being taken in context of your previous bans. Any negative behavior can result in a permaban if escalated through the punishment tiers. You said you just came off a 14 day ban, the next punishment tier is perma. You've shown a clear inability to fix your behavior, thus the permaban.

I played two games after i came back, no others lmao. Plus i was barely negative, i fixed my behavior as much as i can, but feeders trolls and kids who whine every game make me angry, sorry i know how computers work and how to type and you don't.

Oh really? LMao Criticizing? Ok? isn't Criticizm supposed to be good for someone to improve? Or are we all in 2nd grade and we need people to sweet talk us, lets be real, in the real world nobody is going to sugar coat you, 2nd, i insulted 1 teamate only, and it doesn't go in, if you would actualy read maybe you wouldn't be such a smartass acting like you know everything. Also, there isn't any rules against threatening to report someone, there are rules against asking others to report someone, learn the diff before you start typing.

Not everyone is open to criticism. Not everyone wants criticism in the middle of their games. Criticism is good for improvement only if someone is open to receiving and learning from it. Otherwise you might as well not say anything because the end result will be the same.

Knowing when to give criticism is important to learn. Unless you are coaching someone or in a game with someone who has told you they are open to pointers on their game just don't do it. Nothing positive will come from unasked for criticism. It will not be taken in the manner you intend it to be because they don't know you. They didn't ask for it and they probably don't want it.

It comes down to intent. Some people play the game for fun and to relax. Having a teammate point out every mistake for those people ruin their intended purpose for playing the game. Thus, unasked for criticism will ruin other people's games.

As a note publicly telling someone you're reporting them is grieving for the same reason that asking for reports is. It's not necessary and it doesn't do anything positive. You don't need to do it.

Well open for it or not, it's human nature, like wtf? why wouldn't it be human nature to want to improve. They also told me before game that they were new to the champ and they would like any advice, And just reading chat logs wouldn't it be assumptive to the point of view from the person who wants to say it? Like they need to look at both sides not stick with one, they need to learn how to be flexible, none the less thanks for the reply
