Trolls and being reported

I have recently lost 3 straight games of ranked, 2 of which were my promos. All of which were from trolls. I'm very aware that its not always your teams faults and anything you do has an effect. Normally, I am used to dealing with trolls. This time I had three straight games of trolls, and with my last one, having said 3 sentences, which essentially said "pls report 'troll' for trolling" which if a mod wants to bring up chat logs, they will see. The last match he was trolling in champ select too. Sure i could have dodged, but that is unsportsmanlike. All I ask of this is that the obvious trolls are not allowed to play in ranked, and that the current false negative feedback is removed. Thank you, have a nice day. You are not allowed to ask others to report even if they are trolls. Don't try to get somebody to check or you could get banned.

As storm said, asking others to report a player is harassment; don't do it.

To assuage your fears that punishing it lets trolls get away with their behavior, don't worry, mass reporting has no benefit. 1 report is roughly as powerful as 9 are, because punishment is calculated per match not per report. Not only is mass reporting worthless, it also potentially causes more problems by egging on that person to reciprocate the harassment. The best option is to mute and report them and move on with your life and your game.

If you lost your promos, you're basically given 2 free wins in the next one, so I don't see why you're complaining. I get you're not at the next tier, but you get a free " win one and get promoted " card.

Why do you play ranked alone? ranked is only if you have a team of 4 other friends who know the game otherwise its impossible to progress
