A way to dodge without getting punished

I know the title sounds dumb but hear me out, there should be some way for a player to dodge without getting punished for it. I just had a ranked game where my support went teemo with no keystone and just ghosted right down mid and started just killing himself. We knew in the loading screen this teemo would be a troll and we were right. So when i got in game i simply just sat afk in spawn so we could remake and got leaver buster for 5 games for 20 minutes each. I find it honestly quite stupid that something like this could happen because i am for sure not going to play out the match with a troll on my team and take a free loss. Please Riot i am done with this leaver buster crap that punishes me for trying to save my LP.

The first dodge in a 24 hour period is only pittance at 3 LP.

Considering it leaves your MMR untouched, that is pretty much a free dodge.

This is true but it isnt guaranteed you will only have to dodge once a day especially if your like me and are bronze 1 and play a lot of games

It's still problematic if you happen to be in your promos. Lose-lose situation - dodge or play, the end result is the same.

I'm interested what you said to him pregame to make him rage. BUT we'll never know.

It was odd cause we never said anything, we got into the select and nobody said anything until he hovered teemo so i asked if he was actually gonna play teemo supp and he said yes so i was OK with it. But then he banned Vi which our jungler was hovering. We asked him why and he said nothing so we started loading in and he had heal and ghost and no keystone so we knew he was trolling. When we loaded in I told my team I would afk so we wouldnt have to lose the LP and he tried to stop it by ghosting down mid and dying. We didn't provoke him he was just a regular old troll. I think it is just wrong that i did that to help everyone in the game and have to wait almost 2 hours of doing nothing waiting for queue. I am contemplating just not playing anymore because i don't want to wait for it. It is stupid that i am punished for doing the right thing.

20 min leaver buster queues are the most severe penalty, so you must AFK often. Which is you fault for accumulating so much AFK history.

Also, dying to not be able to /remake is a diamond thing only, and doesn't apply to low elos.

I'm not spending 2 hours in queue, i'm spending 2 hours because i have 20 minutes cool-down on 5 games. Plus my afk'ing is because i was going to let the game remake so we didn't have to play out the match with the troll teemo. And yes i did do it often and that's why its 20 minutes but that is besides the point. Please before commenting next time read the post and understand it. I explained all of this in the original post.

Also just a note the reason i had done it so often is because unfortunately with the seemingly terrible community of the bronze elo i have had to do afk remakes a lot. It is because of this "flaw" in the way leaver buster works that makes me bring up this topic in the first place. It seems that Riot don't care if you are being forced into a losing game by trolls or leavers, even in ranked. I know that there has to be a way to fix this so i am simply trying to figure out why this hasn't happened yet. I am aware that the report system and the leaver buster system is supposed to fix it but that only work after the fact and it feels like a huge middle finger to the people forced to deal with these people in game.
