Yesterday i watched the opening Ceremony and suddenly this Dragon appeared. After that I wondered if it was real and did some Research and some say it could be a hologram or smth like that but i didnt find any facts or article about it.
Now i was wondering if anyone of you could Tell me if it is real (hologram) or animated.

I don't think that's how dimensions work. Humans can not see anything that's higher than 3D, which covers anything in the physical plain and pretty much anything you can see and probably think of; if a something can be contained within a cube, doesn't matter the size, it's 3D or lower. We can try to approximate the 4th dimension or higher with a model, but that's merely for theoretical and calculation needs and conveniences, rather than something actually representative of real dimensions above 3D.
All that said, what I meant was that (according to the guy in the comments of that video who claims to know or have seen the thing on live; I wasn't there to see it myself) the audience were watching a big screen with THAT video on it. It's not a hologram or anything like that, it was a video played on a big screen that the audience watched live, just that the video was recorded (using the footage of live feed of the audience and the concert) and edited on live which is also what we called 'augmented reality'. It's like you do a snapchat or whatever social media tool where you can take a selfie, and by doing certain facial expression things like cartoon dog ears and stuff will pop up on the image on the phone; it's no different than that, just as a video rather than a photo.
