Failing to connect during champ select

I'm not sure if anyone else is having a similar problem, but for the past few months some lobbies I won't be able to select a champ during champ select because of lag/failed to connect. My internet isn't fantastic but I use ethernet and there is never any ping/lag related problems for any other games I play. Also when I'm in game not once have I had a problem during the game with lag, this only happens during the champ select for me. It really sucks because most the time it happens It doesn't "reconnect" in time for me to pick so I lose LP and get a leaverbuster
