20 minute restriction que for a power surge?

Does anybody else feel like the low-priority que is way too strict now? I got disconnected when the power in my house blew for a moment. I logged back on, everyone was 6-7 and I was still 2, I played the remainder of the match only missing 5 minutes at the beginning, but after the match I got a 20 minute low priority restriction. How is that even fair? I only disconnected once.

You did not get a 20 min low priority queue for leaving 1 game. You got it for your entire leaving history(which should have included at least 2 other lesser punishments and a warning).

There is leniency built in because everyone is going to have occasional issues. Its just that you are way past using it up.

Yup to earn a 20 min queue time, you must have left numerous other games in the past and been warned/punished for doing so.
