The League community is 90% Toxic waste.

Honestly I've played this game for many years now and I loved it from the start, I've invested so much time and money into this game and I am sad to say that it has changed. League is a game where you should work with your teammates to win, not bring each other down every game. If you don't like something somebody is doing, don't bully them because you're ruining the game for everyone. There are players who get a kick off of making other players suffer, those players are always on their team. What's the point of it? You only lose more and cause everyone to get upset or really hurt, I am saddened to say that the League community is horrid in a word. I would love it if you all would come together and help me stop the Toxic waste that is ruining this great game. And Riot Games, please start taking care of this properly and more personally because there are many players suffering in real life due to this. There are troll teams who report good and kind players who don't deserve it and even get banned. I've been threatened to be banned due to this as well, you said you "reviewed" what had been said and showed me the chat.. in that chat there were zero negative comments from me to my team yet you threatened to ban me? this is unfair and needs to be fixed. If you care about your fans, you will listen to this. I know almost none of you will agree with me, hell most of you will probably prove me right.. but there will be a few like me who want it to end. Please stand with me. #SaveLeague

See you are one of the kids who thinks its bad to say big old mean things to people but going 0/14/0 in your lane just means you had a bad game. And ANYONE who says otherwise is BULLYING you. No, YOU ARE THE TRASH that makes this game HORRIBLE to play. The "mean" people on the game i can just mute and NEVER talk to again... but its kids like you that make it IMPOSSIBLE to enjoy the game. Words i can escape, a boosted animal i cannot.

If you think every person who plays is toxic, chances are you are toxic without even realizing it. Just sounds very toxic to accuse people of being toxic all the time. Playing the victim card all the time when no one's even trying to insult you. I imagine you start a lot of chat wars because you can't just ignore people. You probably call them toxic instead of ignoring and then "defend" yourself. I wish you could see my chat logs and see how wrong you are about me.

I left out the numerous League players who cyber bully others day in and day out and get away with it. They do not understand the harm that comes from cyber bullying and they do not care. If you are a cyber bully just know that your self destructive nature is why this world is falling to pieces. Everyone I know has been cyber bullied at one point or another, more than half of them have been abused by their teammates on this game. Please help me fix this stupid disease that is making League hard to stomach.

I mean heres the thing, people a terrible in general. it the nature of a person to tear others down. its not the lol community. I hate when people say the community is bad, why?, because ever game and social media is toxic for say. If you want to end it, dont use it. And its sad thats the only real option. Cus someone you dont know is not gunna change for you.

None of the other MOBA games have such a toxic community, so it is league community.

Have you played any of the moba (or games in general) there has always been toxic people. I would say dota is far worse than league in terms of toxic behavior!

Played all of the popular mobas for at least a year, played dota since closed beta, league since season 3, unless you count low priority Dota doesnt have nearly as much toxicity as league, neither does HotS or Smite, or HoN.

Just because you mentioned helping people learn I wanna say I would love to help people learn and I think a lot of people would lend advice. But newer players don't really invite it. I think if newer players would just say that they need help, the community would happily advise players. But I understand why they don't ask for help much, because there's always some guy who's gonna be the cool guy and say ok here's my advice: uninstall. So I don't know actually. But it does seem like a lot of players who aren't that good, think they're good and don't want to learn from strangers cuz they don't wanna think that person is better than them or they think the person trying to help is just under handedly insulting them. I've tried to help but usually I'm met with pshh ur trash shut up.

I personally think it is caused by the snowball meta and lack of ability to carry your team as one player. A lot of people play this game because they were bullied and have no friends and that is why they take their frustrations out on others online. Literally, if riot just took us back to season 4, the community would be a lot nicer (on the surface because they don;t have to vent their frustrations as much if they can carry) as the gameplay was a lot more fun.

I get so frustrated that its so hard to carry sometimes that it results in 'open mid' more often than not. These problems aren't being addressed and I think the gameplay is largely at fault (although having no friends is the cause cuz we all live in tiny little boxes on a hill side made out of ticky tacky and they all look just the same).

I think it has more to do with the amount of smurfing, unless someone invested real money they can just flame as much as they like and when they get banned hop to the smurf account amd continue flaming.

I'd like to say that DOTA is toxic, but at least from my experience in there, even though that DOTA has a steep learning curve compared to League, there are a lot of people in there who will take their time out of their day to teach you the basics at the very least.

I don't like the DOTA community because it is toxic, so saying that other MOBA communities aren't toxic is an inaccurate statement. Though, if we compare Smite to League, or Heroes to League, or even Overwatch to League, you could say that those games in particular do have a much less toxic community compared to League.

Though, the toxic people on this forum will probably say something like "Overwatch isn't a MOBA" or "You're comparing two different types of games, your statement is invalid". League is a toxic community, but saying that League is the only toxic MOBA community is inaccurate.
