Banned for 3rd Party

I have been playing on this account since before January 14th 2010. I have never used a third party program and I try and login and I am banned !? What!?

My last game that I played, I have been trying overclocking on my system. I was trying a 4.8 ghz overclock and it has been working fine for a few days, and randomly out of nowhere near the start of a ranked game I incured a WHEA uncorrectable error. welp turns out it wasnt as stable as I thought as shown in the image linke above.

I removed my overclock settings and put it back to 4.7 ghz on an overclock I know is stable.

Returned to game and got a huge amount of bad mouthing for DCing. I did not mean to DC and I fixed the problem ASAP in less than 4 mins and got back in.

The team wasnt happy with me DCing and I am almost positive they reported me for cheating to get me banned.

This is rediculous I have never used a third party program to play league at all. I have CUE installed for my corsair keyboard but no macros on it at all!

This isn't okay that my account was banned for "using a third party application" When I have never cheated in LoL. This is Absurd

UPDATE: I contacted riot and said this:

I have been playing this game forever I made my account before January 14th 2010. I have never used any third party programs and I have never cheated in this game. "Your account: azraelz was banned due to the use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to your League of Legends client. We believe that all players should play on equal footing in an effort to promote competitive sportsmanship. You should be aware that modifying your League of Legends client is against the Terms of Use: http://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/legal/termsofuse. We hope you can see that it is unsatisfying to play against other players who are using a tool to gain an advantage over others. "

I dc'ed my last game because my overclock wasn't stable and my computer crashed. It was a ranked game, and I am guessing all the people on my team reported me for cheating as payback!?

I have never cheated in this game! How was it determined that I was using a 3rd party program!? I only have CUE for my corsair keyboard with no macros on it!

Your account has been banned for the use of scripts, hacks, exploits or unauthorized third party programs to gain an unfair competitive advantage. Accounts that have been caught using hacks are permanently suspended. We strive to maintain and preserve a fair and competitive environment. We make absolutely 100% sure before banning any players. I understand you would want proof but due to there being a history of players wanting to know how to avoid being caught in the future we do not disclose information in regards to how we have confirmed this. You may not have this intention, but we have a firm stance on this matter.

THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME AND THE SAME PERSON ANSWERED! I also posted in your Reddit thread, Azraelz. Mine literally just happened while I was patching. Keep in touch Azraelz, if this happened as a result of a problem with their code then we can likely find others who suffered the same thing. If we get enough people we can force them to actually investigate this.

I mean what makes you think the overclock is what made the detection go off of you cheat? Overclocking has nothing to do with league of legends nor the client. With that said more than likely it was something you did awhile ago since they do these types of ban in waves, so it wouldn't have been something as recent.

I mean the dectection caught something. So it's obviously something on your computer. With that said it could be something different like if you bought the account, or if your account was compromised!

Weird, the same thing happened to me as well. I was logged out when the ban began, but it definitely ruined my day when I logged in last night (or tried to).

I sent a support ticket, and got a similar response to yours. My responder put a little more emphasis on disallowing account sharing, but I've never shared my account in my life nor have I noticed it being hacked. I only use Plays.tv and Curse Voice, and my responder assured that my account was not banned for these programs.

I made this account over 3 years ago to play with some college buddies, and it was still my main source of connecting with them after we all have graduated or left school. It's frustrating losing an account for accusations you know you didn't commit, and I can only assume that there were many false positives with their algorithm like ScorchBomb said.

I was banned for third party use when I have NEVER cheated in this game I've used curse voice and discord ingame waiting for my support ticket to get answered but I'm not gonna get my hopes up, I took a small break from the game and come back to a ban. Lovely.

I always thoight these were fake, I have been inactive for just over a month. I have been on vacation, and sure enough I got banned for 3rd party. Riddle me this why in the world would someone that put almost 300 dollars onto his account cheat. They havent responded yet but I am terrified of loosing my account. Anyway to get them back?

I also have the same problem. I'm permanend banned by the system for something I never wil do. I also did allot support tickets but nothing will help. The only way is accep the perm ban and start over.
