How can we improve the LP lost for a team that has an afk?

I just got Demoted for my jg leaving the game because my mid was being toxic. now from what i saw the jg just watch me die and i was pretty heated i ping the hell out of my jg as well did the mid laner. the jg explained that he lag this did not stop the pings from my mid. idk if he did or did not lag but that fight put us even futher behind. but i felt like we had a chance however the JG just starts trolling and long story short leaves costing me a rank. is there a way to try and give back LP if lost do to toxic players that cant be abused?
