Ranked AFKs.

Overall I have not had to many issues with ranked AFKs, however I just played a match with someone on my friends list, who I'm not sure how he got added and I don't know IRL, so I probably shouldn't have played ranked with him, my mistake. But, he had locked Jhin top, complained, fed, and then went AFK around the 15 minute mark. I'm not sure what Riot's stance on AFKs in ranked is, but guessing off of the way the system is right now they don't seem to give a fuck. I really think that they need to detect if someone rage quits, say they hit the exit game button, and when they do they get a -50 lp penalty or something along those lines. I'm honestly fine with someone that either had league crash, or their internet go down, and feel as long as they come back, then they just lose the normal amount of lp if the team loses. The only problem I see with this is if someone manages to close league via Task Manager or something else, and I'm not sure if there is and easy way to fix this. Only thing I can think of is something like the save function like in notepad where it will pop up a window asking to save. I don't know If something like this could be added to league, but it would remove the problem of detecting rage quitters and just people experiencing crashes/internet issues. Obviously this system probably has flaws as it's just something I wrote up on tilt from this ranked match, but I'm hoping the community and hopefully some Reds from the development/player behavior teams can join in and try and build a proper punishment system.
