Intentional Remakes

So I don't have much time to play now days as work is rough at the moment. So I can get one aram and one ranked game in before work. I like the aram to warm up in and get my mind into the game. But today I qued up for ranked and got into the game, in the loading screen i noticed their jungler didn't take smite. So as soon as we get into game he says remake in chat, then afk's until they can remake. Wasting all of our time because he made a mistake on his summoners. I get nothing out of the game and now I don't have time to play another without the possibility of being late. I know I don't deserve anything because I didn't win but there needs to be a defense against this our at least let the other players know that some punishment happened. I mean he was talking in chat ffs. This is mostly just me bitching, but I feel that it's utter bullshit.

Well, in my opinion that was a kind thing to do since it is really hard to jgl w/out smite. Sure you lost some time but on their team only he was punished. It totally sucks to play w/out a proper jgl...

I agree with you that its hard to do, I'm just angry at the lost time do to someone not paying attention to their sums. And it feeling like nothing happened because of it.

Something did happen though. He lost a full game's worth of LP for the mistake. He also has that afk to deal with on his account now.

He sacrificed that to save the entire rest of his team the time and LP loss that would have resulted because of his mistake if he tried to play (and in all likelihood lose).

He absolutely did the right thing, and he is the kind of player I'd want in my games. That was honorable af.

You're absolutely right, I was just mad. I overreacted to the lost time, and I would have liked him to do it if he was on my team.
