hi, im a fellow summoner who recently has been banned from playing League of Legends for 14 days. i played a game with my friend and we were just trolling. In fact, everyone was trolling and we were all being toxic. So i got 14 days banned. Honestly, i probably deserves that but what I don't understand is that I skipped a level in punishment. I looked it up and there are four steps to ban phase: 10 game chat restriction, 25 game chat restriction, 14 days ban, and perma ban. Well I was at 10 game restriction few months back but I have never been in 25 game chat restriction. It seems to me that I skipped a ban phase. riot explain please????

Different offenses will result in different punishments. For example, if you're constantly using profanity in chat, you'll move up the ladder of punishments one by one. But if you include racist/homophobic language in your chat messages, that will likely escalate you directly to a 14-day ban. Other more serious offenses will also usually escalate you to a 14-day ban (for example, intentional feeding). I'd advise you to post your chat logs so a moderator can give you more information on why you received your ban.

It's possible to skip straight to the baning phase.

%%%gots kys and multiple other phrases can make you skip tiers. someone can probably give you the full list but these are the most common ones as well as insults to the lgbt community

Now I understand why I skipped a ban phase. Next time I will be perma banned. But my question is if I perform a good behavior, will my ban streaks reset??? and how long do I have to be reformed?

It takes roughly 3 months of consistant, clean playing to drop a tier. After a 2-week ban, that's about 9 months to fully clear all tiers.

As for joking with friends... you need to to be sure about them, because even a 'joke' report counts if there is something report-worthy. And if there is even one random person on your team, you'll want to keep your chat clean because they probably won't see the joke.
