rito's fail system works its magic yet again.

group of friends join a game. I call top, they say yes you said top first but their premade doesn't care and I have to play supp. I say no thanks i'm top. they insta lock in a fiora anyway. game ends. they all report me for "toxic" and now I'm on chat restriction for 10 games. so really all you need to do is have 3 friends join a game with you and report them. with the 4 of you saying things, odds are half the other team will report you as well. and the solo queue person gets screwed again.

I think I hate this game with each growing day. maybe this will finally be the motivation to leave this horrible horrible community.

I've noticed that the toxicity is exponentially growing during the week. I suspect the kid weekend ruins the game. I had quit playing on the weekends for a long time, came back trying it again, quickly reminded how terrible it is.

Had a ton of AFK, rage, flame, etc... this weekend. Game is weekend trash.

did nothing toxic or bad. if I knew how to pull up chat logs, I would but no clue on that /shrug. never had a need to pull up logs after a game.

They were emailed to you when you were punished, and they're also in the reform card in your client usually.

up here you go. apparently it sends you your chat logs for your punishment eventually. didn't know this cos I've never had it happen before.

I guess it only has what I say not what anyone else does. yes look how horribly toxic I am when their premade friend lane stole from me. I called them idiots twice when they said they would report me. how horrible I am. not a swear word or anything racist or even mean in any of that. so yeah thanks rito.

and saying the 4 person reporting doesn't do more apparently seems false. as I got the restriction almost immediately.

I edited out the nontoxic stuff. It only has your chat because your chat is all that matters. No matter what they did, you get punished for what YOU typed and they get punished for what they typed. Two wrongs don't make a right, and them being assholes does not mean you get to flame them. The restriction came immediately because this was not your first time getting reported. You were reported in many games and this game was the straw that broke the camels back. it triggered a review of your chat logs, found the chat I quoted above, and punished you for it. While this is not SUPER toxic (which is why you got a chat restrict to start instead of a 14-day ban) it's still against summoners code, because it's negative. You can't call people idiots, or tards, or insult them. You played right into their hands.

yup so next time i'm on a team of 4 pre-mades. and they demand I go to another lane or they threaten they'll report me. I should just do nothing as they spend the entire game telling the other team how i'm trolling them and asking everyone to report me.

this is exactly what is wrong with the LoL community and their punishment system. I get trolled and I get punished just because they can report 4x to my 1x.

again especially as I said nothing offensive, racist, or even bad. if you say something like "i'm going to report you if you don't switch lanes" I should be allowed to say idiot back. this is absolutely absurd to say the least.

keep on stretching it. league's report system has always and always will be broken.

You should mute them, and report them, and not say a thing. In real life, you can't retaliate when people are assholes. Ask anyone with a job what happens if they're rude to an asshole customer. YOU are responsible for the fact that you retaliated. The system isn't broken. YOU broke the rules. YOU got punished. System works fine.

Uh you don't know much about real life then. they aren't customers so that is a pretty fail analogy.

go to any real company and go around doing crazy/stupid/idiotic things like telling lies and spreading false rumors, and guess what? someone is going to call you an idiot. and will they get in trouble for it? no they will not, but you will be in trouble for causing problems to begin with.

also, I'd bet none of them got banned / warned like I did.

You don't know what did or didn't happen to them, so don't act like you did. You don't like that analogy? Well how about this: You come into RIOTs house. RIOT asks you not be act like a jerk. Someone else is being an asshole, so you act like a jerk. RIOT throws you all out of his house so he doesn't have to deal with you. The end. League is RIOTs private property, and they can do what they want when you act like a moron they don't want on their property.

I think you should realize that the rules for the boards and the game are different. And even in game, cursing isn't against the rules unless it's directed at someone.

Four reports have no more power than one report within a single game. You received a chat ban because you did something to deserve it. Remember, just because someone is being toxic or a troll, doesn't mean you get to return it. Just mute them and report them after the game, and they'll get their own punishment eventually.

Careful, you're more likely to get further punished simply for responding in this forum, just let it go before you get enough attention that you get banned. Seriously, look at any board post with 100+ hits, they end up permanently banned, ~~regardless ~~ BECAUSE of their actions.

as i said you dont understand the system you dont have to proof this any more.

but im a nice guy so here i go: punishements are given out in tiers like this: 10 game chatrestrict 25 game CR 14 day ban permaban.

you got the first tier, and you dont understand what you did wrong even tho you got chatlogs. im on this board enough times to already tell you, your permaban is on the way.
