I realize I deserved the chat restriction, but should this game really have counted towards it?

I'm not too sure if this game should've been counted as one of the reasons I was restricted. To give some context, I was being flamed all game by a toxic pair who was $$$$and in the game. I was playing Tristana and I don't try too hard in urf so my score wasn't the best. I do know that I did respond to their toxicity with some passive aggressive comments and that " needs to visit a mental institution". But other than that, I don't believe it should've contributed to a chat restriction that much. (Commented about mental institution because the would nonstop go on in a very... "silly" way that I quoted "urg" from her)

Game 2 HexTech Ninja: sivir username checks out HexTech Ninja: brain disconnected HexTech Ninja: sorry going to dc HexTech Ninja: Running it down mid HexTech Ninja: if you don't stfu :) HexTech Ninja: nah dw HexTech Ninja: jungle **** is going to 1v9 carry HexTech Ninja: you landed two q's nice HexTech Ninja: **** HexTech Ninja: base? HexTech Ninja: 2/6 lul HexTech Ninja: 3/7 lul HexTech Ninja: wow HexTech Ninja: I'm lcs btw lul HexTech Ninja: wowzers lol HexTech Ninja: why do you say that lol? HexTech Ninja: alright HexTech Ninja: enjoy your free hate speech ban :) HexTech Ninja: rito doesn't tolerate this shit m8 HexTech Ninja: lol? HexTech Ninja: yeah I'll for sure HexTech Ninja: ****is afk lol HexTech Ninja: You died too? HexTech Ninja: well yeah because i don't give a shit about "urg" HexTech Ninja: you need to visit a mental institution HexTech Ninja: sure.. HexTech Ninja: how am I toxic lol HexTech Ninja: $$$$and **** has been flaming me all game and tells y'all to report me HexTech Ninja: I mean, I guess I'm a Mexican shit player according to $$$$ HexTech Ninja: I mean, I don't give it much though HexTech Ninja: gg

(First comment about "sivir username checks out" came from her username that was "Moderately Drunk". I only commented this as a joke because she was afk and accidental gave away first blood. Nothing too serious. (although perhaps a bit of tasteless satire to some other ppl))

(Comment about running it down mid, although I do realize is toxic, I didn't follow through as it was just expressing that I really wanted them to shut up. I never intentionally feed in any of my games.)

(The comment about the free hate speech ban came from $$$$calling LAN/Mexican players bad and that I was probably Mexican because I was a bad player.)

("You died too?" was when $$$$spam pinged one of my deaths when he died just moments prior as well)

("I don't have a shit about "urg"" was a comment made when **** basically said that I was extremely bad and my score reflected it and was supposed to communicate that I don't tryhard in urf because I honestly don't care about win/loss that much, and more so that I just enjoy the game playing in a more COD like fashion)

(I do realize that I was toxic as I reflect on the game.)

Yes, but do not focus on what you have done in the past. Just focus on being a positive summoner in the future. I know you will be able to improve if you stop and think before you type anything in chat! :)

If your chat is toxic, it will count towards your punishment.

The system punishes people based on consistency x severity, so we know your chat is moderately toxic, the next part of the system is "how fast you are punished will depend on how severe your chats are".

Even things as mild as calling someone noob is taken into account. It'll just take more games of noob calling to get someone punished.

Keep in mind that the reform card gives you 1-5 recent games as examples of unacceptable behavior. Doesn't mean you were solely punished by these games alone.

HexTech Ninja: you need to visit a mental institution

Threatening to AFK and telling other players to visit a mental institution is problematic, yes. The score mentions could be as well, if you were laughing at another player's performance.

i'm glad you realize how toxic that chat was. i would also remove their name because name shaming is a no-no. as an added bonus i'll mention that when it comes to restrictions and bans context isn't really looked at ever.
