So on my provisional games from level 30 to ranked, I got placed in Bronze II. Not a problem. This forum isn't a rant of me saying how unfair the system is, it really isn't, i deserved my position in Bronze, and I accept it, I can climb up. I climb up, go up some LP, lose some, get into promo games after 100 LP, lose twice, not a huge deal. What made me mad was this one game. I was playing Fiora top, like I always do, making Irelia go 1/7, she had wrong runes and masteries, and had a bad day. I won lane extremely quickly. I got first top tower 11 minutes into the game, and I was ahead enough to take down both mid towers by 18 minutes. I got caught out because I was cocky, and I did blame Lux for not having map awareness, because she was right in front of me ahead. My fault, and I did blame Lux for it, so I was being the asshole. But this Lux got extremely butthurt, and she stayed in the middle of base, just walking around spamming in chat, "Carry us, if you're so good"... We lost that game, and as I did 33,000 total damage to champions, she ended up doing 9,000. The whole team had to suffer because of 1 butthurt player.

TL;DR I was carrying because of a good early game, blamed Lux (which was completely my fault, I shouldn't blame team for my mistake), I apologized, but she was butthurt, so she didn't contribute, and we lost.

What made me mad was this one game.

Be prepared to lose a good 30% of your games AUTOMATICALLY. The good part is 30% of your games are really hard to lose. The difference between a good player and a bad player will be in the 40% left.

If a game didnt end up well, notice your mistakes quickly, think of what you can do so it will not happen again, move on. It's not important. you WONT win every game. I was diamond S6, started a new account to play some new champions and i've got only 75% winrate in silver.

The fact is you juste need 55% winrate to climb quite fast. (it means just winning 11 games out of 20)

blamed Lux (which was completely my fault, I shouldn't blame team for my mistake), I apologized, but she was butthurt, so she didn't contribute, and we lost.

Then you now know you shouldnt blame people, and it will not happen again (well at least not because of what you said). Now if i can give you another piece of advice : even if lux was at fault, blaming her would have been a bad idea too, for a few reason :

  1. What do you earn from blamming her ? > Nothing, litteraly nothing. Did you ever see someone you blamed starting to play well and do amazing just because you blamed him ? Then what did you expect ?
  2. What can you lose ? > She can tilt and play worse, or even troll/afk
  3. It's considered as negative and can bring the ban hammer upon you

As a fed Fiora in Bronze, you shouldn't need a team to win, just yourself
