The people who deal with account suspension and what not are stupid because they think that if someone says "kys" and you defending your dignity is worth being banned. I have proof and photos of a rioter telling me that I deserve to be banned and not the guy that tells me "kys". Stupid system and I wont spend anymore time playing this game that I once loved. All because the people handling the system are a bunch of goons. I hope Riot continues fall and losing customers like they are now. Nobody wants to play a game and lose it all just because they're defending their dignity. Riot will fall because of this "Mark my words" in a few years this game will have declined drastically because they don't treat the loyal customers right. Just like any big company out there. They will become what Diablo has become. Washed Away. My actions isn't deserving of a perma-ban. I have been playing since Season 1. This Community that Riot has built, yes, Riot has built the community. They manipulate how things go. The Community they have built is trash.

This guy sees players that go beyond what the threshold should be and say "Kys" like it is normal. Seriously as we move to the internet age and kids begin to make their lives based on playing games like this, that should be setting a good statement to parents and what not. I was reading that parents are now getting coaches for online games for their kids instead of soccer, or football. We should be setting an example. Riot should be setting an example. but instead they follow a broken system that bans someone defending themselves rather than the guy saying "kys".

"Defending your dignity" is the most undignified thing you can do in situations like this.

Riot allows players to stand up for themselves, but that is not the same as retaliating. Without seeing the logs I can't say specifically, but I found it in most instances like this the punished player is actually attacking the player who insulted them rather than simply standing up for themselves.

if your dignity needs "defending" from some stranger you met in a 30 minute video game then you had none in the first place

Well since you wont post your logs, I can not comment on if your perm was fair. However, I can comment on your reaction to the support agent. You are either not understanding the agent, or are being purposely ignorant of what that are saying.

  1. They never said you deserved it and the other didnt. What they did say is another person's behavior doesn't excuse your own. Which is both good game and life advice.
  2. The suppory agent never said the other person wasn't punished. In fact, for the privacy of player's accounts, they can't tell you.
  3. Dignity: a sense of pride in oneself; self-respect. If all you did in chat was self respecting and pride in yourself you wouldn't have been banned. Minus the chat logs I can't determine that. Although, your arguments seem to be a different definition of dignity, one that absolves ones behavior due to another, which is pretty much the opposite of the definition.
  4. Yes yes Riot is failing, everyone is leaving. Do you know how many of those threads are archived on the old forums. Yes, one day the game will be no more, that's unavoidable. However, it won't be because they ban toxicity.

Damn Jooo beat me to it. I'm to busy trying to get a 3 year old to eat his damn dinner. Kids ammrite.

Edit: Mission failed. After an hour I wasn't able to out last his ability to entertain himself with a plastic fork, farm themed placemat and his imagination.

I never understood the need to defend yourself. Your life nor account isn't in danger, what do you need to defend?

Your dignity, which .. no one else will witch hunt you unless you are in master tier where the champ pool is so small.. so why would you need to defend it? It's very very rare that you'll ever see those flames again.

So what the heck are you defending?

If you were allowed a certain amount of leeway to respond to insults with insults, then everyone would spend their time insulting people.
