I'm getting real sick of people tilting out because one or two deaths and then just crying 'gg open mid' in all chat. Even if you manage to secure a good lead for your team they just refuse to try playing any more. This happens as early as THREE MINUTES into the game and they will just sit at base the entire time until you can surrender. I understand sometimes a game is unwinnable, but generally by that point it's like, 10 kills down a couple drakes maybe 2-3 towers and they just snuck Baron. Not 'oh Jax killed my bot laner once and it's 4:42 on the clock time to ff'. Seriously, tilt is like a spreading pool of creep that taints everything, because one idiot tilts on your team and then everyone else starts flaming each other and other people afk it's a friggin' mess and we need to SQUASH THIS TOXIC LOSING MINDSET.

Defeatist attitude is one of those punishable offenses that we see oftenly punished here.

What's more frustrating is that this season tends to favor scaling champs. So to see a champ tilt early on knowing that champ can crush anyone late game , is by far most annoying thing to witness

Crybabies will, unfortunately, cry.

At the end of the day, those players will see the diminishing returns on their own attitude, and while it fucks you up for one game and sucks, if you can try and stay even a little optimistic, it'll work out for you in the end.

Also, 'Negative Attitude' is for these exact scenarios, because at that point their whining compromises the team. It's what the Summoner's Code is for. Slam that report button and keep your chin up BB.

"Open mid" hadn't happened to me in a long time. Unfortunately just the other day I experienced it. It sucked because three players just went top and faffed about while the enemy team literally took our base at like 12 minutes. I was on Ezreal and was doing ok for a while, thinking I was about to scale pretty well and just start chunking them, but no, my team is full of quitters. When I'm telling them how much this sucks, Braum just says "well, I got auto-filled mid, so I just get to move on to the next game." Ok....what about me?

All I wanted to do was have fun playing the new Ezreal in norms. I fill a lot, I support a lot, I just wanted to have a bot lane game for once. But no, other people are selfish. There are five people on your team, not just you. In a crazy solo queue game, a few early kills to the enemy team is not the end of the world.

Honestly I think when people "group" mid, they're basically forfeiting bot lane and coming to sabotage their team by taking mid's CS and experience, further drawing massive amounts of attention there, not respecting their mid lane at all.

sadly your wrong. it is a very popular opinion NOT to open mid. all across the elos i never get more than 1 other person who would open mid until we waste about 15 more minutes.

Even though I agree with what you suggest (which I translate to mean: Opening mid is a mindset for the losers, who do not belong to the league) I downvote you for using "Unpopular opinion" at your title. People using that in the title are just fishing for upvotes and that fishing is imo bad behavior.

But yet sometimes there's just 1 or 2 tryhards (or trolls) who presses no to fail the early surrender vote in a 3/2. And the rest just follow and play like zombies just so that they can avoid leaverbuster/griefing - and everyone just continues feeding anyway because wtf can we do. 10 minutes later, after the enemy are literally just farming us but refuse to end the game, there's no way to shut down the +5 level Jax with a GA (and his similarly geared team) but then those trolls still continue to press no.

I am not having fun in this game anymore, but the fucking bot lane is just being spiteful to me because "You're stuck here with us because you didn't gank bot". Even worse, the enemy was cooperating to pad their KDA. That is fucked up. It's even a normal, I don't gain anything by winning yet I have no choice because leaverbuster. Eventually had to let the supers take the base, lucky they died because they would've stalled it even longer, and the 3 of us just let the base fall.
