I was on one of the websites that endorse scripting (BOL) and in their shout box 100's of people are REJOICING that tons of their accounts that were banned in the past have all been un-banned??

I have scripted in the past and 2 of my old accounts that were banned were recently unbanned. I gave up on scripting after losing a few accounts but I dont understand what could possibly make Riot want to un-ban thousands of banned scripting accounts lol.

Kinda funny i guess... but seriously wtf u doin Riot breathing new life into these fools

I wouldnt be surprised if it was a trick. I mean come on, you know for a fact the people who do this once they get their account ban will more than likely continue to script/hack and will help improve Riot system of catching these people faster.

Guess their bans werent permanent? Or perhaps its a second chance. (Or maybe they're baiting in the scripters so they know who to monitor to find out how the new scripts of today work)

Sounds... fishy. That said, Riot did at some point do a massive roll back on recent bans for toxicity because something was wrong with the system that could have resulted in unfair punishments being dished out. Might very well be that something similar happened here.

I used to script. Feel really bad for it now. I was just toxic and wanted to get back at the community.

I'm not unbanned. I sent a request to riot apologizing and hoping I can get an appeal to it. Fingerscrossed

If it makes you feel better I have a friend irl that has had over 16 accounts banned for scripting and he's never gotten one back.

If true, another possibility is that an update somewhere caused a weird interaction between League and one or more legal program that looked like scripts.

i just got an email wanted to look into it, one account is unbanned one is still perm banned :( i spent over 1k on the account still banned hoping to get that back someday after not scripting for over 3+ years
