i just got banned because someone was toxic to me and i told him to 1v1 me. he reported me and i got banned. riot you really have to check what the other person is saying. i got perma banned now. i dont know how i feel about this community anymore. i dont feel it is a good environment. i dont think this game will ever be the same. how does it work though? people being toxic to me and me getting reported and perma banned after i say 1v1 me :(. well thats all i have to say.

The punishment system works in tiers.
Anything that can get you a chat restriction can earn you a 14 day ban or a perm ban. Extreme cases of toxicity (Death threats, hate speech, etc etc) and trolling can skip you right up to the 14 day or even a permaban.
Asking for reports is considered toxic, since it only takes 1 report from you to flag the game for review. More reports don't increase the chances for punishment.
What anyone else says/does is irreverent in your case. Other people being toxic is not a green light to be toxic back.
