then lets allow them to report AND riot to severely punish anyone who use profanity. yea, that system makes a lot of sense. they should make it like maplestory and not allow anyone to turn off the censor. then all would be fine.
You can swear all you want. You just can't use the swear words to insult your team.
Fine: "Shit, I missed the fucking hook" Bannable: "Fuck you Blitzcrank, you're shit for missing that hook".
"If you don't want to hear me spew venom, just mute. I shouldn't get banned." = "If you don't want to see me wave my junk in your face, just close your eyes. I shouldn't get arrested."
Yeap, now I just have to enjoy reporting people as soon as I see them swear. This game makes you into such a little.... cough I swear... I feel like I'm 5 telling on my big brother... Riot - taking players to a new low since 2006. Wish I had my swammendments back.
Just the fact that at least 6 people decided to downvote you just for having an opinion kind of shows it's true. On that note, it's also applicable to the mute button. Riot and community complain about 'toxicity' in the chat yet we have the mute button that can take all of it away. Much like the profanity option, people dont like using the mute either.
Anyone can get around chat filters. The filter doesn't excuse your behavior. Being toxic doesn't mean profanity.
You can cuss.
You can't cuss at people.
Understand that there is a difference.
