Mistakenly banned for MMR Boosting?

Rule··2 votes·621 views

So yesterday i got banned for "MMR Boosting" even tho i never shared my account with anyone... Here is my profile: http://eune.op.gg/summoner/userName=ru%C5%82e Is it possible that i got banned because i played league in school and i let me friends that never played league try it out (in normals and custom obviously)? Please help or at least explain to me why i'm banned.

Edit: And here's the funny part. There is an account that me and like 6 of my friends use daily and it didnt get banned but my account where only i play on it got banned XD

Account sharing is explicitly against the rules, so yeah, that's what you got banned for.

It is possible for the OP to have been banned for that, but unless either of us is 100% sure of it we cannot hard say that's what the ban was for.

Doing so generates conflict and suggests that we have extra information and authority over the ban, which neither of us have. Therefore, please refrain from doing so.[katarina-love]

He literally admits to doing so with this and another account.

I'm just giving a heads up cause your posting is really active and I appreciate the help^^

We can say "probably what the ban was for" but not "that's what you got banned for." It's best if we direct the player to send player support a ticket instead (legit they will help them).

I know it seems the same but it really isn't. If either of us are wrong while claiming "100% it's this" the reaction flame is aimed at Riot not us. Therefore we need to be careful about wording stuff.

Sometimes players admit letting their friends play in customs on their account when in reality something else happened (in ranked perhaps with not their friends). While that may or may not be the case for this OP, it's not our place to assume.

  1. i was right next to my friends when they played i was telling them what to do and they actually started to play league cuz of that 2. That account that we share we only boost the xp on the account i still wonder why its not banned till now tho

That's still against the rules, amigo. One account, one person.

You shared that Rule account with someone and he played ranked. Therefore u got banned for MMR boosting.

but i didnt tho...

u can get banned for ACCOUNT SHARING, MMR boosting is a whole different ball game, try to look deeper into it, because mmr boosting suggests you shared your account for ranked

Theres like no chance you will get banned for account sharing, my group of friends share like over 20 accts...
