Whatever anyone else does doesn't justify toxicity on your part, because you only make a bad situation worse by retaliating like that. Just mute and report them and try to finish the game to the best of your ability in spite of them.

Deep Terror Nami7 votesBans don't happen just because someone was toxic in one game. It typically requires a consistent pattern of negative behavior for a player to be punished. If you were punished and they weren't, more likely than not you are negative in a majority of your games while they are not.

Muting someone who is being a problem in chat is the correct approach, but what were you saying to the enemy team? Where you accusing the Annie of being a troll, threatening to report her or lobbying for reports?

Nobody said she wasn't toxic, and this game may even lead to her being punished later. Punishment is not about "I got punished so they should be too", it is based on the severity and consistently of their behavior, and prior punishments they may have received. Everyone has bad days, and Riot isn't going to punish someone just for a little negative chat once in a while; what they punish is when you're being negative in a large percentage of your games, consistently being a problem for other players. There are 4 tiers of punishment, and each time you get punished you move up a tier, while extreme behavior may result in skipping steps.
Step back a minute and cool down so we can have a logical discussion. If you want to discuss your punishment you can post your reform card with chat logs (if for a chat offense) which would be presented to you in the client and sent to your email.

You got banned because you show consistent negative behavior and are violating the ToS. The people you play with will get banned if they show consistent behavior. Riot generally does not punish a single occurrence or toxicity unless it is really over the top. Perhaps you should take some time to read through the rules so you better understand.

You got banned because of YOUR behavior. Not theirs. It was consistently negative and unsavory.
On another note, a support taking cs is almost irrelevant at most MMRs. Sure it doesn't make you a mid game monster, sure you might have to play defensive and clear other lanes and jungle camps and get items like cull or a coin... but it's not enough to be a complete asshole to that person. It's simply a different strategy. DIFFERENT STRATEGIES DON'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO BE A COMPLETE ASSHOLE TO PEOPLE. And if they're doing it as a retaliation then simply mute and report. Then ask your team to help you recover. If annie's getting all the cs, fine, grab a coin or spell thief's and poke the shit out of the enemy team and have your jg gank so you get the kill gold. There's a dozen things you could have done but you didn't do any of them. You CHOSE to be an asshole instead of a good team player. And regardless of your excuse, YOU CHOSE to be rude and to get banned.
Personally, from what I see in your responses here, totally justified ban.
