inappropriate summoner name

Hey guys,

I have always wondered what happens to players who get reported for inappropriate summoner name? Like do they just get a ban or does riot offer them a namechange?

They get a forced name change. If they keep using inappropriate names they are banned.

I am guessing it depends on the name, but they usually don't ban or offer a name change, instead riot changes it automatically to whatever they want.

They just ban playersi f they say bad words for flaming feeding trolling or anything other they don't care

To my recollection, you get an account lockdown until you do a name change, but the name change is free of charge.
