Why can't we discuss permabans?

Look, I won't beat around the bush I was a fairly toxic player because I fed into the other players. But like me other people can create league accounts and just be toxic to new players causing them to rage and leave! Why not just give us a chance to repeal the bann and get our accounts back. Honestly I spent a ton of money on it and I totally regret my decision. But I am ready to be a positive entity in the game again and participate in the growing community. Am I wrong for feeling people deserve another chance? I mean... isn't this a teen game?...

Because you were given 3 prior warnings and nothing changed. You lost your ability to appeal when you deliberately ignored the warnings

This would imply that the Permanently Suspended players are still toxic, which would also defeat the purpose of allowing them to appeal their suspension. Unfortunately, I think that the argument here is invalid.

Permanently Suspended players were given warnings and prior punishments and chose not to be positive players (reform). While they're more than free to create new accounts, they have to learn to be more positive/less negative; otherwise, their accounts won't see the light of day at level 30.

If perma banned players can get their accounts back what is the real punishment?

I believe we're past that. You had three chances to behave and you blew it.

Just make a new account. And don't do what you did to get banned again.

I don't understand why people always mention money in their argument about perma-bans. I mean yeah it sucks to lose all that money but you made the game a pretty shitty place for at least 4 other people numerous times. Paying money does not and should not guarantee your account's safety. That is privileged thinking and is disgusting in its own right. If you feel like you could be the next pro or like you've truly reformed your ways then it shouldn't matter if you play on a new account or your old account. An account is an account. Just be glad you're even allowed back into the game after being perma-banned.

Discussing it is fine.

I think from their end they believe there is less incentive for other players to try to follow the summoner code if people can get out of the consequences.

In order for a rules/consequences system to work their has to be follow through.

They've already tried something like that. Riot handpicked permabanned players they thought the most likely to reform and allowed them a chance to recover the accounts if they could level a clean account to 20 without getting punished. There were so few successes, I don't remember hearing about any of them and they ended the challenge because it was ruining too many low-level games.
