Reporting Low LvL Teammates

So I just played a normal game and it's didnt go great, the toplaner went 0/8 and mid went 0/12. However i later found out (after reporting) that they were quite low level accounts. I myself have been playing league for a while on and off as a main support, how did i get matched up with these low level players and will my reports get me in trouble as they could be seen as troll reports without me knowing. Also I don't want to be that mean to report new players and maybe get them banned for a while since they're just learning.

So basically in short: can someone get in trouble for this and how did this matchup happen?

Ps. Yes I'm in Bronze V however because I main support i sometimes sacrifice myself to save the adc (Plus we all kinda know how hard it is to carry yourself out of bronze while playing supports like janna and nautilus)

Getting in trouble for false reports hasnt been a thing in a while. It might lower your report weight for a bit but it wont punish you.

As for the players you reported i doubt theyll get in trouble riot is fairly leniant on int feeding punishment and theyll probably realize hey these accounts are new we wont punish them.
