I was first warned, then banned, on league of legends. I can't for the life of me work out why anyone believes this is a forum, Forums generally go two ways. Your thoughts, then mine. My experience of league has been, twice, you fuq up, then you fuq up. simple as that. I spent the first 20 years of my life saying nothing to no one. Then i realised i was wrong, and everyone is in the same boat. I can relate. be that as it may, my experience of lol misdemeanors do not involve the players. a decision is made, based on god knows what, and it is adhered to. period. the first infringement i experienced was for changing my mind at the last minute, and finding i had been penalized without being present at the discussion (of due penalty). In pretty much any court of law, a defendant is given the opportunity to defend himself. if you will, imagine i broke the law speeding in my car. granted, its dangerous. but say, preetty much any reason you like why i did it. it could go from plain recklessness, being young and foolish, even not caring(althou8gh i doubt this exiest, to be quite frank). all the way up to there being an earthquake behind me eating the ground. any reason you like. name it. because it is not open to discussion, and i was not there, at the discussion, if any opf this is making sense. all i knew, from my persective, was, league systems admin had deceidede i was in the wrong. period. I can't imagine how a game involving people could remove the personhood from its player base, but they have done it. Yeah, im here chatting. but what does thjis mean? inpractice, nothing. because when it matters, no one is listening. there is no choice. I guess its like jail, but worse, even a suspected felon gets to listen to the arguements for and against him, and employ even a free attorney. but her aty leage, trhere is no opportunity. no choice. would like it if i said, 'go home'? no, becuae there is absolutely no opportunity fo discussion. thats league. i havent mentioned my next 'ban' i experienced, but yet again, at the bottom there was one button. count (them) 1. 'i understand'. call that a choice? i dont. theres a small error above counting 'them'. there is no them. count it. 1 is that betetr? who knows? who cares? i dont know, i never got the opportunity to discuss it. and if this is a forum, i cant see how or why.

The other option, aside from clicking the button is to not click the button. You are allowed to make that choice if you don't agree to the rules.

It's very similar to the TOU, that you clicked "agree" to when you made the account. No one is forcing you to agree to it. The other option is to not agree, and therefore not play the game.

League isn’t a court of law - you have no right to a trial. You break the rules, you get punished. The end. You’re welcome to come here to discuss your punishments, but no one here has the ability to reverse a punishment - you have to send in a support ticket, and only if the punishment was made in error will it be reversed. The best people here can do is help you understand why your actions resulted in punishment if you’re confused about it.

there can't be an appeals process on restrictions or bans, its not really something feasible, if someone is wrongly banned they can submit a support request for it to be looked into but its like 1/100,000 that a mistaken ban is applied to an account.

If you think about it there are actually millions of LoL players, there is no way they could hire the man power to start reviewing each punishment on a case by case basis before applying the punishment to the account.

Courts of law work because we have millions of them and millions of people to staff them. This is a game company with probably a few thousand employees at the most, and I'm pretty sure the balance team is like 1 person from a highschool computer ed class lol...

They take false positives seriously.

If you feel you were incorrectly punished, then I would submit a support ticket; or you can share your chat logs/punishment message here.
