Chat Restriction because their friends reported me?

I was called 'literally retarded' and 'trash' in a game. But because the majority of my team were friends and all reported me I got a chat restriction? I work with autistic children and I don't understand why this kind of behavior doesn't fly anywhere but in League. It makes me take breaks for weeks at a time, I really don't enjoy the abuse when I'm attempting to relax. Will probably be taking a long break for Overwatch. Hopefully I find something else.

Multiple reports in a single game does nothing more than one. If you got a chat restriction then you probably deserved it. If you want to discuss it more you can post your chat logs.

My suggestion: mute players that insult you instead of retaliating against them. The only thing that does is stress you out and open yourself up to the possibility of being punished.

Not sure what the purpose of playing online games is when you cut yourself off from all contact.

Are you seriously saying you would rather let someone insult you over and over again, just because you think it's wrong to ignore them? Just mute them and save yourself from some stress; toxic players are never going to have anything useful to say anyway.

Just message Riot that you were reported for something you never did nor showed. If you were true to what you said and did, then your restriction get voided. Otherwise, the restriction often takes into account multiple games rather than just one game.

Doesnt work, riot will pick on the littlest things you said. They always do. What I hate is if someone is sooo extremely toxic, like cancer to an entire country toxic, if only you report them nothing happens. if you and your whole team do, they get banned even if its the slightest thing like yelling PENIS during the game.

More often than not, Riot sees what you said on a spectrum of Months, if not, within a year. If you're true to your behavior, and it was a one-off case or, as the poster says, was a targetted case, then Riot WILL undo the account restriction. If they didn't, most times if not all times sometimes was said in the past that changed their minds to undo the punishment, as the case was not a one-off, or for what the person was restricted on, what heinous enough to dictate such a restriction that to remove it is outright stupid.

I have never seen a single case where Riot had condemned players who were good without reasoning, and often what people see on a general level, is not at all near what riot sees on all levels of coding and behavior.
