Chat Restriction because their friends reported me?

I was called 'literally retarded' and 'trash' in a game. But because the majority of my team were friends and all reported me I got a chat restriction? I work with autistic children and I don't understand why this kind of behavior doesn't fly anywhere but in League. It makes me take breaks for weeks at a time, I really don't enjoy the abuse when I'm attempting to relax. Will probably be taking a long break for Overwatch. Hopefully I find something else.

Multiple reports in a single game does nothing more than one. If you got a chat restriction then you probably deserved it. If you want to discuss it more you can post your chat logs.

My suggestion: mute players that insult you instead of retaliating against them. The only thing that does is stress you out and open yourself up to the possibility of being punished.

Just message Riot that you were reported for something you never did nor showed. If you were true to what you said and did, then your restriction get voided. Otherwise, the restriction often takes into account multiple games rather than just one game.
