i flamed somebody a little and immediately after the game i got a 14 day suspension. i am usually a very respectable person, i get honored a lot and i do not flame, which is why i still have honor 2. the problem is that i have never gotten a chat restriction before and riot just gave me a 14 day suspension after i flamed somebody once. how can i play the game when i am banned! i love league of legends!
Depending on what you said the system can skip tiers of punishment.

You generally aren't just given a 14 day ban out of the blue....you are given warnings and chat restrictions before hand unless you say something extremely uncalled for which generally is super rare. Probably you got the warnings and failed to listen to them so you got a 14 day ban.
So you know, after your 14 day ban, your next punishment is a perma-ban. So please be careful what you say and even if someone forgets to ban or feeds even on purpose just do the best you can to ignore it move on. It's not worth losing your account over. :)
IN cases of extreme toxicity/racism/hatespeech punishment tiers can be skipped. Also the question how you can play the game when you are banned is, dont want to be rude, kinda stupid. The ban is so you cant play.
