Permanently Banned for Hacking/Scripting?

I know this isn't the first post of this nature, but there is no way that this is the first instance that an incorrect ban or suspension has been handed out either. My cousin/roommate/favorite person to play league with was permanently banned yesterday due to hacking/scripting or using third party software to gain a competitive edge.

Now, I have been playing league with him devoutly for the past 4 years and I can guarantee you that neither of us have any knowledge of hacking or scripting and the only third party software that either of us use is Curse Voice which has a League overlay, plays.tv to record, and Overwolf like popular streamers such as Sneaky use. I have absolutely no idea what this ban could be handed out for because we play with the same group of friends, at the same times, and using all the same software. We even play from the same location as we have lived together all throughout college spending tons of our free time playing League of Legends.

The account in question here is Huntsy on NA, and I just can't imagine that Riot could have gotten this one right. We have dumped ridiculous amounts of time and money into this game, consistently playing it only for fun. We are both low on the ladder, Gold 1 and Gold 3 and have nothing to gain nor do we care at all about cheating. Please inform me as to why he is being banned permanently, because there is absolutely no way that this is correct. If I have missed something and there is legitimate evidence showing that he was "attempting to gain a competitive edge" then I can assure you that it was not intentional. Throwing someone who has dumped countless hours and close to a thousand dollars supporting your company over the deep end in this fashion seems really unfair. I understand that there are stipulations which when broken result in the permanent ban of an account regardless of time and money spent, but I really believe this one needs to be re-evaluated because League of Legends has always been nothing more than a fun hobby for both of us and everything we have done on League to the best of our knowledge has fell well within the TOS.

I also spend a lot of time playing LoL with these two and can attest to the integrity of the account in question. It's very surprising to see this kind of ban and I can't think of a single reason why this ban was applied other than some sort of glitch in an automated banning system. Hopefully some review is done and this gets resolved.

My result came today. I uninstalled MKLOL in December last year, and still today one of the Player Support refuse to lift my banned because of that. The way I see it is that they are just Robot, they think because you HAD that 3rd software installed long ago mean you breach the rule and they will go ahead and send you beloved account to hell I hope they can do a better job for your account :( Good luck

The only thing to do now is keep sending the tickets with very low chance of success. Then when you give up, time to move on. I felt betrayed by something i love, so if this is it, then it will be the end of the line for me item 3070

I've heard skin related programs like Mklol are responsible for this.

But the recent ban wave was particularly aggressive so who knows.
