Is LeaverBuster associated with Instant Feedback punishments?

A few months ago I got a 14 day suspension for intentional feeding, and ever since I got unbanned I've been reforming and didn't get any punishments, but today I accidentally left an AR URF match from beginning until the end (forgot that I accepted a match during queue and went away from pc).

Since I got a recent suspension, that makes my next punishment a permanent ban, but I didn't get punished for this like nothing happened. Why is that? Is the LeaverBuster associated with punishment tiers on my account or not at all? How does this work?

Leavebuster is separate from the IFS. LPQ doesn't impact your punishment tiers at all.

If you repeatedly leave games, that CAN cause a punishment (14 day first ban on a clean account, perm second offense) but that is for the most severe cases.

How long will it take to drop tiers of LeaverBuster system? I only left 1 URF game.

If you only left one URF game, the LPQ shouldn't have even been activated. There's leeway built in that lets the occasional leave/DC slide.

If you do have LPQ (a 5 through 20 minute wait before you can get into the que for a game), just play those games out, and the LPQ will be finished. Then don't leave/DC to stay out of leavebuster.

you wil get lower priority queues for abandoning games,just that.

So now that I've left 1 game and didn't get punished or notified by LeaverBuster, does this mean I'm up one tier in the LeaverBuster system? How long will it take to drop a level from LeaverBuster?

No worries. If Leavebuster didn't issue a penalty, you're not in trouble at all. No need to even think about it. It only hits people who leave often.
