PERMA banned for this??

Context: draven fed 4 kills. claims he's tylerf**king1. then AFKs we decided we would like to open mid since it was at around the 10min mark. down 10-0 and a player.

ONE player on the team does not want to give up 4v5..but I'm not even sure this player was actually aware it was a 4v5..

here's my chat log

If you were just coming off of a 14 day ban then you should have been on your absolute best behavior, instead of calling people trash.

Is this chat log worth a punishment on it's own? Probably not, but then again you don't really get a permaban off of one game anyway.

Every game of every day ,regardless of ban or not -> I TRY my very very very best.. I tell myself not to argue or to write a lot with ppl, not to rage.. and yet, the skilless-ness and stupidity of the players I am getting matched with while its obvious that 4 out of 10 games are versus scripters who clearly uses BoL make me agrovating my lines...

So no.. its not . The matchmaking sucks and frustration rises.

You can blame matchmaking all you want, but I'm sure you know deep down where the solvable problem is, and I wish you luck in solving it. League is a game, and while it does have a competitive focus when you start getting frustrated instead of having fun you have to make a change.

  • /fullmute all isnt a perm setting in the option?

  • still no age restriction for underage and unskilled kids?

  • I'm expecting too much while all teh while

Full mute could definitely be an option. No way for Riot to prove someone's age, so why bother. Your expectations are about your team, which is already the wrong mindset. Arrogance has nothing to do with it.

Focus on your own play only, and don't queue up for another game if your team's play has tilted you. You are the only common factor across all of your games, so if you actually focus only on your own mistakes and just let your team do their thing you'll not only have more fun, but you'll improve at a faster rate.

I'll freely admit this is a mindset thing, and some people are simply not capable of ignoring their team's play for very long, which is why if you're one of these people you have to avoid queuing up while tilted. Tilt is the single most dangerous thing for your own play and has to be given the proper amount of respect.

Never forget that if you're not having fun you're doing it wrong.

No way for Riot to prove someone's age, so why bother.

Add your legal personal ID for even more transparency; MasterID-System with all Smurfs in a Drop-Down. Enabling to overview account-sharing, smurfing, toxicity, age and Lifetimebans even better and I know that ppl will have BigData complainment to share

But everyone is giving it away anyway-- Also it has a legal issue to it which I find apealing if you can only create an account with giving up your personal data + physical adress, could be the final coffin nail against toxicity.

Your expectations are about your team, which is already the wrong mindset.

No, I expect game and map awareness, warding and common sense. (i.e. not fighting 1vs5, dont fight in an unwarded jungle, pull drake out of the pit IF we have no high vision.. these things..)

Arrogance has nothing to do with it. imagine you play support/jungle and the jungler came to bot lane, you kill enemy bot. and you ping and ask for early drake. The support comes, your adc does not because he rathers last hits and pushes the tower. THAT is arrogance to ignore pings and logical objectives.

I can play even when tilted, I found myself learning better - even if agro~vated (aggravated; just agressive) I just continue to play and do <insert heavy breathing.meme> . Na man.. if my team trolls or feeds (i.e. sucks) I'll just go into mute-mode and do my thing, eventually help out if I can but the best way is to either feed as well in a lost teamfight and forceend the game, or go solo and farm, gear up - come back - give em hard and turn it over :)

Fun ended the moment matchmaking ruined a decent lobby -> i.e. flaming, trolling kids; 2xpre + 2xpre + me as a fill; playing champions out of meta because ~trust me it works... .. that sorta thing is no fun.

playing pre 5 on TS with your mates.. however..

Are you purposely misinterpreting what I'm saying, or am I not making myself clear?

You have to play with your team, and pay attention to their movements and strength in order to plan out what you are going to do. I'm not saying anything against this.

What you're doing is paying too much attention to their mistakes. You can't fix their mistakes, yet you're spending an inordinate amount of your time focusing on them. Spend that time looking at your own mistakes and you'll personally improve, which is the only thing that allows you to climb.

This is not your decision to make. If the surrender vote does not pass, you do not get to intentionally feed, afk, or otherwise stop playing the game to win.

Furthermore, it takes both time and active play (hundreds of games most likely) to show reform. If you had a recent 14 day ban on the account, or one long ago and many long breaks, that would be why your punishment was escalated to a permanent ban.

If you cant learn after multiple warnings and proceed to flame that hard.. Yes, it was totally deserved.

People who cant learn get taken out and dumped in the internet.

Most people like this have something to hide, but if that is actually all of your chat logs I don't think you deserved perma, hell i've seen people 10x more toxic i'd play against and they get off with no punishment whatsoever. The only actual flame from what i can see was towards an afk draven. I'd repeal this ban.

This person has obviously been punished before, and each one gets higher up on the tier list. You can get perma banned for saying "Fuck you" to someone after a 14 day ban.

Even if he was punished before, this doesn't seem like this is even remotely enough toxicity for a PERMA ban

That does not matter, The punishment goes 10 game chat ban, 25 game chat ban, 14 day ban, perma ban. After a 14 day ban, the smallest infraction will get them perma banned because they are showing no signs of improving.

you would be surprised how tame this chatlog is compared to other people who have already recieved 14 day bans saying the n-word, f$%*$# and other derogotory terms frequently in chat, just for them to get away again.

If calling people "trash" at a video game really permited a perma ban then league would lose 50% of its playerbase, don't play stupid about it because you know it's true

EDIT: also its not this person calling their team trash that got the perma ban, it is their frequent punishments. Dont be stupid.

As I have explained once already

Punishments go in order of 10 game chat ban, 25 game chat ban, 14 day ban, perma ban. If they had a 14 day ban already the perma ban is the next one. You best drill that in to your thick skull before it happens to you.

Sick of arguing with you, and yes they have been reported because I did it personally. They talk and talk in /all about getting off a 14 week ban as if it was an accomplishment then continue to flame in chat. I report, no punishment, only one case someone has actually received a punishment. Answer me this - Why would they ban him just because he has been previously banned? There must be some sort of reason, and since they give the chat logs as a reason I hope to god you would be smart enough to assume that calling people "Trash" was in fact the reason.

No, here is the thing. Lets say you hired this guy, and he was rude as fucking hell over a span of a month, you gave him 3 warnings, then a couple days after the 3rd warning, he was being not as rude, but still enough to get a complaint, would you warn him again or fire him?

What is so fucking hard to understand about this guy getting perma banned, he was on his last warning.

I guess I can understand the ban, was extremely frustrated this game. Tried to just get out of it, along with the rest of my team. I didn't edit this chat log, it's an exact copy and paste.

This normally may have only been marked towards a chat restriction. However, after a 14 day ban, something that would cause a chat restrict will instead cause a perm ban.
