Maybe unfair permanent ban? Please share your thoughts

Hey guys, Today I was in a game with 3 toxic people and they were flaming me all game. I had the best score in the team and they were still flaming me for literally no reason. I wasn't flaming them back or anything I was just talking to them via game chat and out of nowhere after the game my account got permanently suspended. Could you please review the game chat log and tell me where I was being "extremely inflammatory and offensive" as the report says.

God0fWarsBG: wtf God0fWarsBG: xD (I got first blood and was surprised that my jungler vi got an assist) God0fWarsBG: no sweetie God0fWarsBG: jungler and top go afk God0fWarsBG: yeah yeah t God0fWarsBG: vi and ch orunning away (Team flaming me because I went in to help and they ran away so I'm just answering back with a little bit of a negative comment but definitely doesn't deserve a perma ban) God0fWarsBG: all lanes stay on their lanes please God0fWarsBG: no need to move around God0fWarsBG: say ss God0fWarsBG: follow or do anything God0fWarsBG: just stay on your lanes all game (Enemy team was roaming to mid and killing me and my team was flaming and ping spamming and was afk on their lanes so I was a little bit angry I'm pretty sure this is not as toxic and negative as comments made by other perma banned players such as "kys" "get aids" etc.) God0fWarsBG: sweat much? (enemy team coming onto me 3v1 I believe was just making a little joke) God0fWarsBG: 11/8 mid laner that lost vs me God0fWarsBG: n1 (messaging in the team chat saying that veigar lost mid and he got fed somehow, just a comment tho no toxicity or negativity shown towards anyone) God0fWarsBG: I've participated in over 50% of the kills God0fWarsBG: dunno what you're chatting (Cho gath calling me useless so I just stated a fact) God0fWarsBG: you lost mid dunno what you;re chatting God0fWarsBG: cry that I'm winning (Veigar flaming me in all chat calling me terrible when our team was clearly winning so I just said that back to him) God0fWarsBG: enjoy flamers :) God0fWarsBG: xD God0fWarsBG: you guys got this God0fWarsBG: I believe in you God0fWarsBG: carry me please (My team were flaming me calling me useless again so made a little joke that they were carrying me, no offence to anyone) God0fWarsBG: and you for flame :) God0fWarsBG: hahahah God0fWarsBG: perma ban God0fWarsBG: easy (Telling me that they'll report me for being useless or something of that sort so I just I said I'll report them back, also don't believe this deserves a perma ban) God0fWarsBG: I'm reporting this kid God0fWarsBG: is flaming God0fWarsBG: clear signs of aggression God0fWarsBG: janna too flaming me all game for no apparent reason (Again just stating facts, maybe I did use the word "Kid" but please tell me does that really deserve a perma ban or ban at all?) God0fWarsBG: xD I'm happy af God0fWarsBG: cry xD God0fWarsBG: xD God0fWarsBG: hahaah (Enemy team and my team were saying "Cry" or something of that sort so I was just laughing in the chat stating I'm happy af and laughing at them for saying it) God0fWarsBG: report me for carrying (Cho gath and janna kept saying "report this yasuo kid" so I just stated "report me for carrying" which I believe is not a negative comment or me being toxic to anyone so not sure about that one.)

Please review this case as I believe this permanent suspension is very unfair as you cannot class this on the same level as other toxic players that flame and are being extremely toxic. I also haven't been chat restricted at all it all started with a 2 week account suspension which was fair, but I believe this is not.

So this isn't awful in the big scheme of things, but may have been sufficient to push you over the edge if you just came off of a 2-week punishment. Coming back and starting right up with sarcasm at your teammates, calling people flamers (even if they were), and generally harping unnecessarily on your teammate's behavior isn't ideal.

Might be worth submitting a ticket though -- I suspect my analysis is correct, but it's not the worst thing I've ever seen and if it was the only game you got you might have a chance if you're polite and apologetic.

Did you try to contact support for further review? I don't see anything in your chat log that strikes me as punishable really, at least not to that degree from what I'm aware of. I wish you luck in getting it resolved, I'd suggest contacting support if you have yet to, I'm sure they will help out. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

The way the punishment system works is that you receive increasing levels of punishment each time you exhibit punishable behavior. It's like being on probation. If you recently came off a 14-day ban it won't matter how minor the behavior was, if it is considered punishable even a little bit then it will result in the next level of punishment, which happens to be a permanent ban.

IMO the system should have separate punishment ladders for differing kinds of behavior, so that you can't randomly get permabanned for smaller offenses after committing a different larger offense originally landed you the 14-day ban, but that is besides the point.

You were punished by the existing system, which is why your seemingly minor (yet still punishable) behavior displayed above would have resulted in a permanent ban.

If you play league in the future, you may find it beneficial to not repeatedly respond to flamers. By reacting you acknowledge them and feed their behavior, they will want to do it more and so the harassment against you will just get worse. It is much simpler and more effective to ignore or mute them and just report them after the game. No need to put yourself at risk for punishment by responding to them.
