25 game chat ban

Hi All

I am curious how the chat ban works. I have a game with another two duos, I was adc, one of them is the support, the support is keeping trolling . I tried to be reasonable in the chat at first place, but he getting work in the game.. that get me angry. so finally I got 25 game chat ban, and they walked away freely.

So how does the punishment works. I am fine with the chat ban cause I use bad language in the game. but how do you push those people just trolling in the game and ruin others game?

Also how does the honor system work, I lost all the honor and down to lvl 1 and took me 4 month back, and duo to thse two people, my honor back to lvl1. So do you think this system is fair or not.

You're currently at step 2 of 4. If somoene's trolling in game, you must mute them. Do not start flaming them yourself, you are just liable to get punished yourself.

You were punished for what you typed, not what anyone else did.

Honestly man i feel ya. I have the same issues with riot and there report system. Your best not to say anything because riot is not good at actually reading the chat logs and understand who the problem in the game was. They can say they dont but all they do is look at whos got the most reports. I just got a 25 game chat ban for something similar were the other person started being toxic , harrased me and all i did was defend myself upon him without cursing or insults and i ended up with the ban. Ill prolly get some riot employee hate but they do not do a good job banning the right people nor do they take the time to make sure everyone gets punished. Thats one of a few things riot doesnt do right and eventually will be there downfall. My advice to you friend is to stick only to solo/duo que because your chances of getting chat banned or finding players that are great at getting at you happens in flex que when they que up with 2 other people. So then they get there freinds to report you and thats 3 reports on you vs 1 person. But yes i do understand your trouble. The proper people go unpunished and it doesnt seem to change so i wish you good luck in your future games and just mute your whole team until riot fixes this issue. Good luck on the rift

I have had multiple people receive punishments through reporting. My rule is try and defuse whoever is raging/trolling. If they continue I just mute and then report after if I feel like the person’s behavior wasn’t just a one time thing. Everyone has their off games (had 3 good games and 3 bad ones) but if they are just negative the whole time on purpose don’t engage and just mute and report.

Trolling doesn't exist in LOL, apart of Trundle. Trolling is a game play and valid. Being toxic is punishable while trolling is not considered as toxicity.
