Suspensions

So, suspensions are only relevant in # of reports, is that accurate? Because if I say something like "Stop chasing into jungle blind" or "if sej misses her ulti and hits zero people, don't chase into the fight" these statements, contrary to popular belief, are not toxic. My teammates reported me last game for these type of comments. I received a 14-day suspension about 45 seconds after the game ended. Even though I was told there was an "extensive audit" on the chat, as if someone had looked through it to see if bannable offenses were made. That's clearly a lie, no one looked at the logs and made a decision on whether or not toxicity occurred, so why lie to your players Riot? It was completely based on a group of people playing together and all target reporting a player.

I don't see any logs.

It's the percentage of valid reports you've received over a period of time, not the flat number. You are not banned for one single game- the chat log you're sent is just the one that took you from the edge of "Wow this guy is about to get a ban if he doesn't stop being toxic" to getting the ban.

It's also worth mentioning that the system is an escalating punishment system: if you've had a 25 game chat restriction recently you're pushed up to a 2 week ban. If you continue being toxic after the ban is up, your punishment will be escalated again to a permanent ban.

Since you disagree that what you said was toxic, you can post the full chat logs here so we can talk about them or submit a request to support at the top of the page and ask for a manual review.

Punishments have never been due to the # of reports a player gets, only by the legitimacy of the reports triggers punishments.

Well the worst I did was call one person and idiot, after being flamed myself being called bad/idiot w.e, but thats not a terrible thing that is harming a human being. But the core problem is it states again that it was "reviewed" that is a lie. If I could send log to a mod I would gladly.

Its # of valid reports as Disregardable states.

Don't know what you did wrong?

You can post your logs here and we can help you analyze it. Be warned though, we aren't that nice to people who've been punished.

Just to let you know, phishing for reports, being negative are punishable events. Also, your next punishment is a permaban. So do change your behavior else your account will get banned.

I'm not particularly nice to people who abuse the mechanics of the game at the expense of others, and tend to either quit out or speak my mind.

That said, I recently got my first chat restriction in quite some time, and the representative text was laughable. Hell, they only let you read your own text now, context no longer matters apparently. I'm sure I receive plenty of reports with my openly negative attitude, lack of friendliness, pessimistic nature, and abundant use of sarcasm, and there is little doubt that it leads to more actions against me.

What counts as being "valid" is a subjective consideration. The more reports you get, the more "valid" reports are likely to come of it, and the more likely our account will receive some form of action against it. Nobody is painstakingly going over every word that was said, attempting to weigh and interpret the conversation. If there even is a person reading over your chat, they are rapidly skimming and any little thing can set them to "yes" or "no". More reports = more "valids" ==> more actions.

Your best solution is to queue with premades, since they wont ever report you and you can intimidate whomever happens to be unfortunate enough to get queued with you without fear of reprisal.
