account suspension

Hey so my friend's account got a 14 day suspension and i saw the thing about account reputation healing overtime. He really wants to reform, but i was wondering, when he plays, can he just mute everyone and keep playing the game and not say a word(he would use pings tho) or does he have to be nice to everyone? And if he is consistenly a nontoxic player how much time would it take for his account to be totally healed? And one more thing, if say he had a bad game and did not flame, did not be toxic, basically didnt say a word and his team lost that game and afterwards 2 of his teammates reported him and 2 of enemy teammates reported him would that matter? Or just there happened to be two duo queued guys that dont like him and they report him for verbal/inting would it matter?

edit: will he always get a notification when he drops a punishment tier whether in league client or on his email or maybe after a certain amount of time could he send a ticket to riot support and ask them about his account's reputation/punishment tier/record? And does he have to play ranked or can it be any type of game(normal, aram etc)?

Reports just flag a game for review. There is nothing that additional reports do. If you're watching channel 39, using both remotes to change the channel to 39 doesn't make it MORE channel 39.

You can mute all and play games with no danger of being punished for toxic chat.

It takes around 3-6 months of playing actively to reduce one punishment level. (that would make the next punishment a 14 day ban) 3-6 months after that for the next punishment level (for next punishment being a 25 game CR) and 3-6 months after that to have a perfectly clean account. Total time of 9-18 months to be totally blemish free.

If he intentionally feeds, sells his items to buy multiple tears or boots, or other forms of gameplay trolling, he can be reported and punished for those offenses. Being reported when you've done nothing wrong has no impact on your account. So, if he doesn't int, he won't be punished for inting.
