Ok. Well im sure we are all in agreement when I say we have a been screwed or tilted by toxic players. So what is everybodys go to weapon? REPORTED!!!. Well we all want to punish these toxic players to make our game, yes i said our game, better. but we cant.... wtf riot plz tell us why no tribunal yet???

why would you need a tribunal when there is an automated system to punish them within 15 mins of the game's end?
Also, you can still report fine. Granted the punishment visibility sucks, but the reports still work.
Up Your Ashe1 votesWell some reports are unfair and not justified. I think that the review of peers to keep it fair. and to punish the quilty and protect the innocent. the automated system is nice but blind.
TrulyBland1 votesThe automated system is not blind. In fact it sees a lot more than what Tribunal voters used to see. As a result it's pretty good at discarding unfair or unjustified reports.
I agree that getting something where the community can more actively vote on things is a good way to increase trust and perceived legitimacy of the system; hence why Lyte was working on something in this regard. But ultimately all of that is secondary to effectivity. And the current system is very effective.

People are not always telling the truth on the internet, so I wouldn't fully believe them when they say they were falsely banned.

Because of transparency... Very rarely is it clear that anything happens to these toxins. (Yes,, I know occasionally someone gets the freelo popup about their report punishing someone but that is way too rare).
With Tribunal, the reform cards are there... the punish or pardon decision is there. All right out in the open.
Kei1431 voteswell, Tribunal 2.0 was in the works (after new champ select was completed), supposingly to compliment the automated feedback system.
Hopefully it will be implemented after the new client rolls out.

Sarutobi1 votesIt's funny when people really want the tribunal back. I'm going to assume the people who do want it back have never used or seen the old tribunal because a lot of people spam Punish. So if you think people will actually Pardon you on our offense then I'm sure you'll be the first to complain when you get ban from the Tribunal!

Nope. I used Tribunal. And as I recall I "agreed" with 92% of the decisions. Yes, there were some outliers but they were few and far between.
The vast majority were bad eggs and there was no question that punish was the correct call.
