I just received a 14 day ban for "toxic behavior" after being stuck with a team that spent literally the entire game cussing ME out, calling me garbage, insulting me, and telling me to go die. I receive a 14 day ban for telling them to go **** off. yeah I've had chat restrictions before but even with muting, if I mute the toxic players they tell the enemy team to report me for not communicating and I get chat restrictions for "toxic behavior" and yet when my friends get online and look up the same people that I have reported for raging and insulting me all game, they are still online playing... so tell me, how is that fair to me or the league community. just sit and deal with getting chat restricted while the people that are literally causing you to get toxic get to keep playing. yeah okay, really fair system you've got going there guys. Ahri ever going to get an unbiased opinion. really easy to ban someone when all you see is what they are typing and not what the rest of the team is saying to them. Lets just turn a blind eye to the fact that they were provoked into it. real smooth. This is why its so hard to love this game, because when you try to ask for help people ignore you, then they rage cuz your lane is fed and when you snap back you get banned and they don't, really fair, riot, really fair. Trundle more...

That's not how reports/bans work. If your teammates lie and ask the enemy team to report you for something you aren't doing you aren't going to get ban. This is one of the reasons why asking for reports is against the rules.

The thing is some people want to cheat the system. They'll play on new accounts or smurf accounts and act up because it doesn't matter to them. But you should have been the bigger person and just ignore them. You can't get ban for that. I'm not quite sure why you think that way, but I've never seen anyone get ban for "not communicating" let alone in that way. If that's the case then muting people wouldn't be a thing.

All in all while it's not fair you fail to see that you too are breaking the rules. Just because someone broke the rules first doesn't give you a free pass to break the rules as well no matter how you see just, it's not right especially for the people you are playing with. Mute the person and report them. Communicating with them is just adding fuel to the fire, as well as giving them evidence against you!

You received a completely justified ban. You are responsible for your behavior on the rift - if someone is truly

cussing ME out, calling me garbage, insulting me, and telling me to go die.

..then you should have muted those players and reported them after game, not responded to toxic with toxic of your own.

Post your reform card, please.

In the end, you are responsible for your own behavior, and your team's toxicity has no effect on the situation.

I know it is irritating to be the target of flame and aggression in a high pressure situation like League, but you are expected to be more mature than they are, and either ignore them or mute if they are getting to you.

Also, you can not get banned for muting the enemy team, it CANNOT happen.
