Co-op vs AI - Account Botting

So I made this new account to have a bit of fun leveling etc again with a self set challenge of only leveling playing AI games ( because I thought it would be funny for anyone looking to see it says I've played 0 games, and only play ranked games from 30 don't ask I'm weird like that ) and I've encountered something that's been troubling me a lot recently.

On entering Co-op vs AI games I've been having a lot of people in these games usually 1 person per every 3 - 5 games, Run through a lane until they reach the enemy AI and die by the AI or tower, they will do this throughout the entire game.

So thinking about what I've experienced I've come up to no other explanation other than people botting accounts. I would have let this slide to being just new players or something but some of the people doing it are in the level 20's now.

I've took a guess from what I've seen of how to spot these people and what they seem to do;

  • From start of game they will run straight through a lane till they die, this will continue until the game ends they even run through different lanes sometimes I've noticed - I think they do this so they don't disconnect from being inactive, because it's nearly impossible to lose a AI game as-long as they stay active once the game is won they will still be rewarded with Exp and IP for doing nothing but making the game less enjoyable and harder for everyone else.

  • They will also have Auto attack on, I've noticed they stop or get stuck sometimes and when they do they hit the nearest thing near them.

  • The will also buy items, probably to look like a legit player. though these items will be completely random from their recommended item lists.

These people don't communicate at all, I've never seen anyone of them say anything in the game even if talked to in the chat, they don't reply. So it seems very obvious these are not normal players.

I have been reporting them for cheating as these are the people who're likely to sell their accounts when they hit 30 to people who don't know how to play the game properly most of the time, then join ranked games and ruin them for everyone because they're not skilled enough.

Has anyone else encountered these people and does Riot know or trying to deal with this situation already or not?

They know and don't really care, nor will they ever really be able to do anything about it due to how easy it is to script a simple bot.

Most of the bots I've encountered were when I was <10, in Coop vs AI games. They all had names similar to each other, chose free week champions, ran the same summoner spells, etc. I've found that they're less frequent at higher levels, but they still appear from time to time and dominion is still chock full of bots now.

Most of the bots I've seen are usually real birth names followed up with something random. Ex. JohnnyBurdows333
