HONOR OPPONENTS OPTION!!!
Basicallly I wish we could have an option to honor the best opponent just like we honor the best teammate! They deserve respeck too mannnnnn!!!

honestly honoring opponent would be more fair and accurate then honoring teammates. With teammates usually honor there duo or that person that had biggest impact to them most recently ( like that support that saved there life or mid laner that caught out the enemy adc that won the game for them.)
Honoring an opponent would remove the duo situation while also showing who the enemy thought was the most influential person on team.
It might be your jungler that carried u but because u dont like him, ( legit reason or not) u dont honor him. Might be your support carrying behind the scenes but you just dont notice.
I agree. In the old honor system, the best thing was being able to show our opponent respect as honorable opponent. Especially with someone who was evenly matched or simply chatted and chilled as you duel each other. Even when they gave the enemy advice for future game reference. [slayer-jinx-catface]
I think they should put back the old honor method (with the new ones as options + honorable opponent) so that the first honor would count the most, and the others just count a bit. Just now I finished a game where I wanted to honor everyone on my team. It was just such a friendly team but I had to choose one person.
I play a crapton of ARAM and I find the lack of honor to give out depressing at times.
I guess as someone who tried to utilize the old honor system I dislike the ability to honor all of my team for multiple reasons or to honor the opposing team for whatever reason.
The rare(semi-rare) games that keep me playing ARAM are ones where I would honestly like to honor all players on both sides. Competitive games with friendly trash talk between teams of appropriate skill make League 100% worthwhile.
I really hope at some point the option to do so will be available. I think at some point I read that it might come in the future, but don't take my word for it because my memory is shot. Anyway, sometimes I really wish I could honor a decent opponent who made the game a challenge or was fun to interact with. We'll see though.
I actually like the way they did it. Honoring opponents is sometimes way off of how the team actually got along. For instance, sometimes it takes extreme team pressure for that "star player" to actually join fights with the team, or sometimes they're instead the most toxic of the bunch. I've seen a couple instances where the player with the honorable leaf seemed like a poor choice from the other side, and my guess is that's because the others couldn't refrain from bickering. You miss much of the team's battles by not seeing their chat.
riot commented on another post about this topic saying they'll add it eventually once they figure out how they want to do it.
more than anything they probably want to avoid people doing things to help the enemies in order to trade honor.
This is a great idea, I could finally receive some honor after I try to carry and my team feeds so hard that they don't wanna honor me lmao

This is going to be abused so much. Not to mention, completely go against the goal of the new Honor system. I literally see no valid point as to why would i ever consider an enemy player honorable.

Unfortunately this appears to be the honor rubric for far too many players. Hence why I hope we get honorable opponent back.

There is no need to honor opponents. People usually only do it when they win, which is fairly stupid.
