I didnt swear even once, wasnt toxic at all. Why was I chatbanned?

I can share the text with anyone who would like to see it. This is my second chat ban offense, and I am wondering why I was banned Heres the chat logs

Would have been fine if you just stopped there. But instead of muting them, you went on to argue all game. You're contributing to a negative environment for the rest of your team and that's why you got a chat restriction.

Here's what I see:

  • Constant complaining about Lee Sin locking in the jungle role even though you called for it (if memory serves Riot deems pick order greater than call order).
  • Calling for reports (this is considered harassment since you're just threatening someone with a report in order to get your way).
  • Calling people idiots.

Overall not the worst chat logs that I've ever seen but while I understand your frustration constantly whining and complaining about it all game long isn't going to change anything. Not only that but you don't help your case by resorting to name and report calling. Also one more thing, you don't have to use foul language in order to be a jerk. While it's true that you didn't use foul language at all in this case you were still negative enough to warrant a chat restriction on your account.

Advice: While it's fine to be angry and annoyed by an instalock or a troll/feeder, complaining about it all game long just distracts from the game. In the future just mute, report and move on whenever someone else starts to act up.

My verdict: Punish.

Negative attitude all the way. (Or I think unsportmanlike conduct is the new name? Not sure, since I haven't had to report anyone in a while.)

For the record, of your entire chat log, these lines

were the only ones that were useful to your team. That means that even with a chat restriction, you won't lose any of your effective team communication (assuming this game is representative).

Incidentally, you didn't directly ask for advice, but I'm offering some anyway. If you ever notice yourself typing more than 2 lines to the same person during a disagreement, just stop (and probably mute the person immediately, without saying anything to them). Think to yourself: What's more important, arguing with strangers or playing LoL? If arguing is more important, then come to a forum made for arguing with people (like the boards here :) ). If playing is more important, then play.

People are very unlikely to believe you when you don't post your log.

That said, could it be you are mistakenly assuming that cursing is what gets you punished? Cursing is absolutely fine as long as it's not directed to anybody. Likewise, however, you can easily harass others (which is punishable) without using any kind of explicite language.

Also, unless this chat restriction was actually done in error, I recommend being more careful in the future. The next punishment will at least be a 2-week ban if it happens soon enough after this punishment.

Riot has a very different definition of toxicity than what other companies do.
