The Aggravation Caused from Lack of Control
There are some things that are not controllable. One of those things is solo queue and you get matched with nasty toxic people. There are plenty of examples that people already know about and have come into conflict with on their own so I will just give one simple situation: The person that is playing mid is not doing well in his lane and notices that the jg is hyper focused on killing things in the jg. The mid player gets mad that they(mid) keep dying so they begin to harass their jg for not helping them and telling them it is their fault that we are losing. Other team members (possibly from the same group chime in) One of them says enemy jg > our jg; Another says it isn't jg's fault that mid is not doing well. Then to make matters even worse, the unaware enemy team's jg does an all chat stating that our jg is slow at farming.
I am the jg in this story. I was not feeding the enemy team. I was not causing the mid lane to fail and feed. Somehow I turned into the reason that we were not winning the game. There is not much one can do in a situation like this. If I mute the rest of my team there are multiple problems that can arise from doing just that. The toxic teammates could proceed to report me for not communicating and at the same time I want to keep communication strong to win the game, even if that means dealing with this toxicity. ALL control is gone at this point. There is literally nothing anybody can do in this situation to make it less miserable other than learning to accept the fact they are going to most likely lose the game and be reported by the true toxic people. I see several problems with this scenario.
There must be some way to punish those who are truly ruining the game by their behavior. The only way to avoid this is to A) Not Solo Queue OR B) Not Play the Game.
I would love to hear how others feel on this subject, thank you all for taking the time to read this and I look forward to hearing your advice/opinions.
