25 Game Chat Restriction for one game?

I think this is really unfair punishment, here is the game reform card

yeah one game reported in the reform card, few sentences, and i do not think it was that toxic. And yet this deserves 25 game chat restriction. I admit I received 10 game chat restriction but throw 25 chat restriction over 1 game in reform card?? Is that justice, Riot?

You behaved in a negative manner while being punished for it already. Hence why you got an increased punishment, because obviously the first one didn't work.

If think that this is "not that toxic" then I really don't want to see what you think IS toxic. Quite frankly, you're kind of lucky your punishment wasn't even more severe.

You haven't seen real toxic chats, i have seen from "I am gonna blow your head out" to "your mom was some back alley D sucking whore". Trust me, mine was a bee sting compare to much severe toxic comments.

There is no "very toxic" or "not very toxic". There is toxic and not toxic.

Toxicity of all types gets punished. If you keep being even mildly toxic, you will get harsher penalties until you stop.

Ok, that is fair a assessment, but from one game, i get a punishment? Hardly fair in my opinion, i should have gotten at least 2-3 in game chats in the reform card before getting 25 chat punishment. To be judgmental for one game hardly seems like justice.

You were toxic for 2-3 games before getting your 10 game restriction. Then, within 10 games after that punishment was issued, you were toxic again. That's a rate of 10% of your games at least that you're toxic in.

one out of ten is not bad, i say that guy had a good composure. so even one game is enough to get players punished. Talk about giving three chances, lol. More like its a witch hunt based on extreme prejudice.

There's no prejudice... Explain how you feel you were prejudiced.

You had one game out of less than ten games.

The idea is you have 0 toxic games, or at most once in a very rare blue moon. Not one out of ten when you're already put on notice your behavior is unacceptable.

you expect people to be mindless robots? Feelings get hurt all the time and words get exchanged in a way we don't want it to but it happens anyways. People should get at least 2 or 3 chances to make up for it, i had one lousy game out of ten and i am punished for it. but, hey you are a saint right? So if i am put on a notice i deserve less chances to recover from it? That's what i saying its prejudice.

I expect people to not take their anger out on strangers.

If you are on probation due to a prior crime, you will get punished faster. That's how it works irl, that's how it works on League.

It's not prejudice, it's common sense. If you are supposed to be on your best behavior and you still don't improve, you are showing you don't give a fuck about the chat restriction. Thus, they issued you a higher punishment to attempt to get in your head that this is unacceptable.

Severity matters. Some one minorly toxic takes longer to get punished. Severity and frequency.

It's actually not really based on severity. The only severity based thing is if you use hate speech or tell someone to harm themselves you'll skip punishment levels. Otherwise, your chat can be mildly toxic, or majorly toxic, and you'll be punished for it either way.

The difference is many people who are majorly toxic are toxic in more games, so it appears they get punished faster.

I've see comments like that in game, and I report them. Stuff like that is always an instant 14 day "last warning" ban on an up until then "clean" account. If it's had recent punishments then it's usually an immediate perma.

At any rate that doesn't make what you said not toxic. You were still a jerk and people don't like playing with those kinds of teammates. It's infuriating to play with unskilled players and even more so when they're also being toxic but raging at them and announcing how they're noobs isn't going to magically make them better.

Keep this is in mind as I believe after the 25 game chat restriction the next punishment level is a 14 day ban.

Literally ever line here is insulting your team. That's not acceptable behavior.

And the escalation is the intended functionality -- if you came off a 10-game chat restriction the next step is a 25-game restriction, and you clearly did not reform your behavior.

It is worth noting that the next step is a 14-day ban, followed by a permanent ban. Now is the time to take a close look at this and realize that "not THAT toxic" isn't good enough. Insulting other players (or talking about how bad they are to someone else) WILL get you punished.

To be frank with you, that tf player admitted after the game that he is an adc player and that he rarely plays mid or tf altogether. Had he said that during champ select i would have been more understanding as to why he was sucking so bad in ranked game. Plus, if he landed a role he wasn't good at, why didn't he bother to ask someone to switch role with him. He was blaming me, the jungler for not ganking when he got soloed and lost at mid. It just drives me mad when idiots pick champ that they barely know how to play and then criticize the jungler when they lose 1vs1.

You're allowed to be frustrated. But that doesn't absolve you of the responsibility to treat other community members with respect.

I would recommend finding an outlet for that frustration that is not the in-game chat, or you may run into this issue again, which I never like to see.

Remember that players are allowed to play things they're not good at -- in fact, that's almost a mandatory step to becoming competent with something. :)

Yes, you're a toxic individual and no one (including riot) wants to see what you type. Enjoy the 25 chat restriction... then enjoy your 14 day ban, then go ahead and enjoy dota 2.

Already on a chat restriction and you chose to use the few messages you had to be negative and belittle your team? I agree that this isn't justice, justice would be you having 30 lvls to learn how not be rude to your team on a new account because its obvious you are a slow learner.
