What happen after reports (where you acted fine)

Hi, my question is the following: When, after a game, you get reported by some guy, but in fact you havent did anything truely bad. are there any consequence of these reports?

let me clarify it: i just did a game, (solo queue, shouldnt do them anymore, holy ****, can never have a fun and calm game when solo queuing lmao), and in that game, a mundo started insulting our jungler, a nidalee, because she got the lane he wanted. he said rude things, which werent appropriate and weren't sportmanlike. he also attacked her play style, saying she "sucked" and such. i got tired of seeing nidalee, a beginner, getting insulted by mundo ( the other members of the team werent really nice either, but they were "OK"). nobody attacked me, but i already lived that nightmare nid was in and felt for her. thus, i politely asked mundo to stop this war, told him not to start a never ending war which would cause the team spirit to die, beaten to death by the rude talks and the hate coming from these talks. the team calmed up, only mundo kept saying rude things. he never said heavy things, but was negative and runined the fun. at the end of the game, i got reported by this mundo. i felt really pissed out, didnt know if i should cry or rage, started asking if i did the right things, i started feeling bad due to that pop up saying "we all have bad games " and bla bla. that message was automatic and im asking if that message have any, from little to high, consequences.

thx for your awnser.

to rito: i think, and thus suggest to change or rework the mesage that automaticly pop up, making it less like "you did something wrong, you shouldnt do itr again" while you acted fine

Here's a rough outline of how reports are handled:

  1. A report is issued.
  2. Depending on the overall number and weight of reports the player in question has received, the in-client pop-up warning may be triggered.
  3. Once sufficient reports have been collected, a case is built against the player in question.
  4. The case goes to review, and the reports are validated (or invalidated, as the case may be).
  5. From here, there are two possibilities:
  • If the reports are valid, and the review does find unacceptable behavior, a punishment is issued based on where the player stands in the hierarchy of punishments.
  • If the reports are invalid, the case is ignored, and the player continues about his business.

Now, I'll go ahead and say I may have some of those orders of operations wrong (I've heard somethings that make me think validation happens much sooner than I have it here), but that should give you an idea.

It's important to remember that the pop-ups are really just warnings - they aren't actually connected to the punishment systems. So if you see one, think of it as a chance to review your behavior. If you've been keeping your nose clean, then you're good! If not, it's a great reminder to watch yourself.

sorry for coming back this late, i had a busy life. also, riot, im asking myself how we are all suppose to stay calm when peoples get toxic Twitch , i love league of legends, its incredible the feeling to have a nice game where players are nice and to have a good chat, to joke around while playing, having fun with both teams. the problem is that im impulsive and i have a bad time dealing with toxic players Singed . i want to stay zen like Shen and deal nicely with it, but i often realise too late that i went a bit too far against a troll/Teemo toxic player. i got my "real" account perma banned, for verbal Sona abuse. it all happened because few players flamed about me, in a few games, and each i time i was loosing control Gnar of myself. after that ban, i started trying hard to stop reacting to such peoples Warwick , but its a real tough job, while all i want is a good time in a damn game. im already using all the options available that i know of to help myself stay Karma calm, but it aint enough. i reactivated language filter, disabled /all chat, reduced the chat box size so i dont look at it as much. im doing my best to mute the players im having problems with. all of this help, but it still happen the chat goes wrong. what can we do, i know im not alone with that problem.

sincerly, a guy who dream to keep and bring peace all over the rift.
