Time out punishments are pretty overpowered

What is it that makes it to where a person should be forced to sit through a whole match that they aren't enjoying? I'd get the whole time out crap if it were ranked but you guys go way far on the punishment over regular game matches. You're punishment timeouts are pretty Nazi-ish and unfair. All you guys end up doing is deterring decent players from your game and to something else. Should someone be punished because his team is entirely retarded and the person isn't enjoying themselves? So you end up basically punishing people for not enjoying your game when the leaving concept should be minimal punishment if anything. I'm sorry making someone sit out for 20 mins after they log in and stuff is a bit too far. Why not improve where your system lacks and add a system where if someone leaves someone else can que in at their spot and give that person a reasonable amount of gold and level upon entering so that they aren't wearing cement shoes from the beginning and hold their team down. You guys cater to specific groups and not to all... be more fair with your system please. Yes i know it's highly annoying when a teamate afk's out or leaves but when you shut them out for 20+ minutes because of it not only are you running possible fans away but you're also ruining your chances for people to want to invest in it as well. You guys seem to like money with all your RP shop items ... you think when people have to endure this garbage tho that they want to invest anything into it? Like i said Ranked is one thing but all the non ranked game modes don't need harsh penalties attached to them.

Dude, spacing. Second of all, if Riot allowed people to pick and choose their teams, then matches would never start. If you don't like a match, too fucking bad. Leaving only makes it worse for four other people. Also, comparing Riot's policies that prevent people from abusing the system to Nazi Germany that controlled every aspect of a person's life is not going to go in your favor.

I get leaverbuster a lot. Most of my games are solo queue and I don't stick out the ones where its a 3-4x premade of teens and they are out of control. I'm not a babysitter.

There has to be a strong deterrent to keep people from leaving whenever something happens they don't like. Like dodging, you should be able to take the option, rarely, when its needed, but pay a price for doing so.
