My wifi provider (Spectrum) Crashed in the middle of a ranked game and i got low priority queue

Sooooooo my whole wifi provider crashed, so i normally have stable internet but because of one crash i have leaver buster. I read on FAQ that i cant get it removed due to this so i came to just rant. Also to see others input on this. And im not that mad cuz I still won, but i feel its a bit unfair.

edit: while my internet was stable recently it has times where it just stops for 5-10 mins over the last week so this is my 3 technical leave but i normally always come back to the game as soon as possible.

If you got LPQ, then you've left quite a few of games recently, as you only get LPQ if you have a record of constantly leaving games within a certain period of time, and not for leaving one game.

You afk'd. Reasons aside, that can't go unpunished or people will just make troll bots that do nothing but afk in ranked because fuck you. There needs to be an automated system to prevent this.

Forces beyond control might have caused your afk. But ultimately you are responsible for not ruining the experience of your team-mates.

All of this combined is why it ramps up as it does.

I've crashed, had internet go out, you name it. The only time I ever got leaver-buster was when it was a legit problem with my ISP and it was happening frequently. I highly doubt and would be incredibly surprised if, you got low priority due to this happening one time.

why is this RIOTs problem?

To get LPQ you have to leave more than one game. If you ISP can not provide you with sufficiently stable internet don't play LoL, or change internet provider.

It is kinda unfair, but not much you can do. Unless someone invents something that can detect when these specific cases happen, nothing can be done :/

My electric company had an area wide outage a few nights ago and it dropped me from a ranked game that we still won. I was forced to agree that I will not leave another ranked game and warned... despite having 0 ability to predict the electricity for the area going out. Riot doesn't care if you can literally prove a reasonable circumstance.

I've been having serious problems with Spectrum recently as well. It just stops working every now and then for no reason and yesterday I left a match because my internet went out.
